Inside is a bit run down but the food was amazing! Service was great and we were confused why there was no one else eating in on at Saturday night? This was our first time and We were blown away. We’ll def be back !!!

Hidden gem…really hidden, looks closed- parking lot & porch pitch black- hello light your place up and people WILL COME! Excellent food and service, does need a clean front door and new blinds. Loved our dinner & show!

Very overpriced. The sashimi was bad. Very cold, almost frozen, and hard to eat. Eel roll was the only good food that I had.

This Japanese hibachi place near downtown Suffolk main is easily a hidden gem. The food here taste amazing and service was great. The food is 5 star rating but, this place definitely need an upgrade to the building. The food is amazing and your taste buds will be happy you won’t be disappointed

Enjoy the nice lunch at the Sapporo Japanese steakhouse. The staff was friendly the drinks were cold and the food was prepared well. The sushi was nice and fresh the way it's supposed to be.

Very, very, very oishii!!! Wonderful servers, wonderful hibachi chef!!!! Japanese egg rolls, everything hatchi is very filling, a three course meal fit for a king!!!! Can't go wrong with any choice. An oasis!! Hard to beat! Need more of these in Suffolk and the rest of Tidewater/Hampton Roads! -EL Blanco (hesus) (9-27-24) P.S. We also enjoy Sai Gai on Granby street!!! Been there also!! The food was so amazing. They did an amazing job with cooking the food. The only hiccup I had was that the cook the chicken, shrimp, and veggies all with the same utensil!
