I was highly disappointed. For a fine dining experience the entire meal was a flop. We ordered the Cheese Plate, Lobster Risotto, Elk Chops and Swordfish. Starting with the cheese plate (or charcuterie) it was wonderfully aged meat and cheese delicious, the lobster and risotto were very bland… the truffle mushroom and lobster were the stars of the dish, but the risotto not flavorful at all. We waited an HOUR after appetizers for our food. They wanted to ensure that there was no nuts around the preparation of our food for allergy purposes, but the wait was crazy long. Watching others, who arrived after us, receive their plates while we waited was highly disappointing. The Server we had was also the best part of the experience, very attentive and listened well. The Manager no matter how apologetic he was for the wait did not communicate that we would be waiting for our food to be re-prepared until after, we had waited for so very long. The best thing on my plate of swordfish was my carrots, everything else was very under seasoned, and the fish its self overcooked. Highly disappointed because we traveled so far for a lovely date night, just for it to be tarnished in a flash. We will not be patrons at this establishment ever again.

This is a fantastic place. I couldn't wait to write this review. I sat right in here just finishing this delicious desert and decided to write my review. We came here for our 15th Wedding Anniversary, the food is great, the service is fabulous. Our server only God knows what planet she came from. She was so sweet and respectful. I will definitely come here again. Thank you all so much, You made our anniversary memorable. ❤️ They brought us free Champagne 🍾

Great restaurant found at the main entrance to a high-end neighborhood. If it weren't for the parking lot you might think it was actually one of the homes as it's set in a Tuscan style cottage. There's a nice size bar separate from the main dining area. The main dining area has a view into the semi-open kitchen. After we were seated we were provided with a basket of cornbread and whipped butter. We tried the elk chops which was their special for the night. It was a distinct flavor, but not gamey, and very tender. Something different and glad we tried it as you don't see it often. We also ordered the ribeye which was seasoned perfectly providing a nice array of flavor with each tender bite. For the desert we tried their Guinness Ice Cream. Again, something different and unique but don't know if I'd order it again. Not a beer drinker but the waitress described it as not heavy on the beer taste and more like a coffee flavor ice cream; however, other than the color I didn't find it to be like coffee ice cream. Bathroom: Sorry, didn't get a chance to use the facilities.

Ordered the flounder, beef tenderloin, charred grape salad, ceasar salad, mac-and- cheese, and a fudge brownie (not pictured). Food was well-prepared and the service was even better. The music was not invasive/dominating and the dim lighting, along with the rustic design, is welcoming for sure! The staff was very professional and attentive. The pewter serving tray was classic. It's a scenic drive to the restaurant as well. You can tell that the staff cares about the customer. We will return!

A wonderful experience at Vintage Tavern. The food was delicious, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. I had the bison ribeye and my wife had the beef tenderloin. Both items came out perfectly cooked to our requests. Our waitress was attentive, but not burdensome. Overall a great experience and a definite place to revisit.

Cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. Long time favorite, They have a simple and classy menu with some seasonal treats. Their Elk chops, pimento cheese, and tenderloin are EXCELLENT as is the rest of the menu. Check it out.

The food is always so good. But last night the chefs special which was two BBQ smoked airline chicken breasts, Lima beans and Mac and cheese left me a little disappointed. The chicken while having a good flavor was extremely dry. The Lima beans were the best I'd ever had, and the Mac and cheese was really good. But the star of the dinner was the southern sampler platter. You must try it when you go. And the warm cornbread that is brought out while you wait for your food is so good.

My husband and I were in town for our daughter’s graduation from grad school. She wanted to come to Vintage Tavern for dinner. This was all of our first times here… and it was an excellent choice. The service was great from our server Cat, food so so good, and the building inside and out is beautiful. The brined pork chop with the citrus chimichurri was so flavorful.
