We were in town for gymnastics competition and thought we give this place a try. So our group of 12 was very glad we chose Ricks because everyone enjoyed what they ordered. I didn’t hear any complaints, the waiter’s were amazing with bringing our food out making sure everybody ordered was correct. They went above and beyond to get anything we needed( specially pickle spears lol)

We recently hosted a rehearsal dinner at Rick’s, and it was absolutely perfect in every way! Rick went above and beyond to work with me on the planning and menu selection. His communication was excellent. On the day of, Heath, the manager, truly did a phenomenal job and worked his tail off and met my every request. All of the staff were so kind and attentive, the room was beautiful, and the food was excellent! We received so many compliments. Don’t hesitate to book Rick’s for your next event!

I love the onions rings. The nachos are fresh. Good quality cheese. The bread pudding is really delicious too! The catfish plate could feed 2 ppl. Great place for a date.

We've been coming to Rick's for almost 4 years, and it is one of the best spots in town. I will say that we try to avoid going during the busy times. For food: We recommend the filet oscar, gumbo, ahi seared tuna, and grilled Texas bites. For drinks: bluebonnet, indian paintbrush, and pimm's cup if you like specialty cocktails, or they can make you whatever you want.

Our first time visiting the restaurant, I had the pot roast, big portion served, meat was so tender along with the potatoes and carrots. Definitely will be going back to try the other dishes such as the meatloaf on Tuesdays. This place is certainly worth a visit.

Rick’s in downtown Tyler is a true gem, offering a perfect blend of atmosphere, quality, and service. Upon entering, you’re immediately greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance that sets the tone for an exceptional experience. The well Jameson’s is a standout—smooth, rich, and served with care, providing the perfect complement to their wide selection of drinks. For those who prefer something refreshing, the Miller Lites are ice-cold and crisp, ideal for a casual yet refined night out. The culinary offerings are equally impressive. The chicken nachos, in particular, are a must-try. Generously portioned and layered with tender, perfectly seasoned chicken, they’re an irresistible mix of flavors and textures. The combination of gooey cheese, fresh toppings, and a touch of spice elevates this dish beyond standard bar fare. Overall, Rick’s is an exquisite place to unwind and enjoy both impeccable drinks and a delicious meal, all in a setting that feels both lively and laid-back.

Great food, and our waitress made sure my drink was always full and that we didn't need anything else. The band kept our ladies singing, which is what we always want. Me on the other hand, prefer a little harder jams and not so much the wimpy radio favorites. But hey, the girls liked it so, "winning".

I must be missing something here. The food was awful and unseasoned. We started out with deviled eggs, which tasted bland and cheap, and also ordered jalapeño poppers, which was alright. For mains, I had a reuben with chips, pretty plain and no salt, and my husband had the steak sandwich, which had no seasoning and taste exactly like plain steak with cheese on bread. My husband ordered one drink, an old fashioned, which cost $22!! That's more than we've been charged for an over priced old fashioned in Vegas. This place is just over priced Diner food. I really don't understand why this place has good reviews. Our bill was $100 for the awful food. You're better off going to Sonic. I don't eat fast food, but it would taste better than this
