About Restaurant at Kiepersol - steak house in Tyler, Texas
Customer Review Summary
The Restaurant at Kiepersol offers a comfortable and well-appointed dining experience with knowledgeable and courteous staff. Guests have praised the exceptional service, particularly from servers like Alix and Rodney. The food is consistently described as delicious, with standout dishes like their Chilean sea bass and bananas flambe dessert. However, some patrons found the meal prices high, with a party of seven costing over $1,000. While the food is great, it has been compared to other restaurants like Perry’s Steakhouse, and meal timing can be slow. The restaurant was comfortable and well appointed.. Our server was knowledgeable, courteous, and had all the right answers to the questions that we had. It was my birthday so, as a special occasion type dinner it was good. But being blue-collar couple that we are, it was too expensive for us to frequent. My wife loves the lobster and my ribeye was all right, but I’ve had just as good for half the price here in town. The distillery that this place is known for provide some top shelf option. That being said we really enjoyed ourselves and even though our wallet got skinny my belly got fat.

Amazing service, from alex up front to Riley as our server, the food was too good to stay uneaten on the table. Must try the chilean sea bass!

Fantastic experience. Food was delicious and the staff was great. Good place for a fancy night out or celebration. Make reservations. You can also visit the tasting room (a short drive away) before your meal. I will definitely be back.

Unless u are expecting to spend a ridiculous Amt of money this is not your place. Party of 7 was over $1000. All alcohol was made by them . Tequila, wine and whisky. Takes forever for your meal, which they hope is an afterthought to your thirst for liquor. Food is great but not better than Perry’s Steakhouse

Everything was delicious. Not a single bite of the stake was bad.

Food was great. The Staff was very professional and personable. Our only complaint was the large group that we were sat next to. The people were standing up instead of taking a seat, taking pictures with one another. This group took away from our experience.

Took my daughter here for Valentine's Day. I was homeless the last three years. Lost my kids bc I couldn't afford a home. I'm on my way back up and this place made a memory we will never forget. The waitress Alix was perfect. The food was perfect. The timing for everything was perfect. Once I get us a place to call our own, I am definitely coming back to celebrate with all my babies. Everything was perfect. Kind of tricky to get to but worth every second of the drive. Even the other customers were incredibly friendly. The banana flambe dessert was unexpectedly the best dessert I've ever eaten. This is definitely my new go to special occasion memory making spot.

Family outing. Rodney was our server and he was superb! Great sense of humor, professional and neat appearance, timely with refills, and an overall pleasant demeanor. We were greeted and seated quickly by the host. We were seated in the private dining room with the long table for 12. We ordered the Lamb Chops, Shrimp Pasta, Chicken Kiepersol, Vegan Steak, Duck Cigars, Calamari, Oysters Rockefellar, Brussels Sprouts, Lobster Bisque, Warm Spinach salad and a few drinks. Every single morsel was good. For dessert, we ordered Cream Brulee and the Bananas Foster. Rodney did an excellent job of presenting the flambe Bananas Foster. We loved it. We headed over to wine tasting and enjoyed our selections on the patio overlooking the vineyard. We will be back many more times!
