Vince Young Steakhouse received mixed reviews from diners. Many praised the filet mignon for its tenderness and flavor, with a notable mention of the scallops and delicious bacon mac and cheese. Service was frequently highlighted as excellent, particularly by waiter Scott, and the cozy atmosphere contributed to a pleasant dining experience. However, some reviews pointed out disappointments, such as bland side dishes and overly oily appetizers. The restaurant's ambiance was appreciated, with a dimly lit and sophisticated setting. Me and husband ate here for the first time celebrating our anniversary. The evening was great. We made it early for our reservation and waited a few minutes before being seated. Our waiter Scott was great and provided great service. I ordered the filet mignon with the scallops and the bacon Mac and cheese. The steak was tender and had flavor. The Mac and cheese was so delicious and it was enough to share with my husband. I forgot the name of the dessert we ordered but it was so good and big enough for the both of us that we had to take it to-go. If I’m ever in the mood for steak, I’ll definitely make a trip to Austin and dine in again

The New York steak season is so tender and delicious, probably one of the better ones I've had in Texas. The Pork Belly app was amazing the honey and pepper sauce was unexpectedly good. The negative was that the corn and bacon side was bland and 2 out of the 4 creme brulee were over cooked but full of flavor. If I'm in Austin again I'll be stopping by again!

The atmosphere was nice and cozy but the food wasn't anything I would want to try again. I had the bone marrow and pork belly which was just super oily. I usually can eat anything but I just couldn't finish these. The lamb was good but I have had better. Cannot speak about the other dishes but this was my experience.

Very nice restaurant in downtown Austin. It has a sophisticated atmosphere, friendly staff, and helpful wait staff. The filet mignon just melts in your mouth. The wedge salad was wonderful, my friend had the steak salad as the entree as suggested by our waiter. Everything tastes great. If you want bread for the table you have to order it. The bread was served in an iron skillet with a side of garlic butter, definitely worth it.

Vince Young’s was amazing. I’ve had great steaks in many different cities. Vince Young’s produced one of the best Filets that I have ever had. The flavor from the grill was perfect and it was so tender it was like eating a cloud. It was cooked to perfection and the blue cheese topping was an added bonus. Their side items we all superb and nothing went to waste. I especially enjoyed the asparagus and brussel sprouts. My wife and kids ordered dessert and by the way they devoured them, they must have been good. The ambience was plus as we had no problem hearing each other speak and it felt small although it is a big restaurant. The lighting is dimmed everywhere except the table which felt cozy. The owner of the restaurant came to our table to check on us which made us all feel special. If I’m ever in Austin again, I will definitely be back. Well done Vince Young’s. Your presentation, owner, chefs and staff are all top notch.

Had a great dinner before we headed off to see Tom Segura at the Moody center. The food was amazing and drank a glass of 25 year old Scotch that was great. They even followed up with a phone call. We will definitely be back. Hook 'Em

Came here for happy hour on NYE and started our night with steak frites, pork belly bites and bone marrow. The steak frites were my favorite. Perfectly cooked steak, though the fries were room temperature when served. Great value for a downtown establishment. Will be back for drinks and more steak frites!

Good food in great atmosphere. In a city renowned for beef and flush with incredible steakhouses, this establishment didn’t deliver anything unique or particularly memorable, and I’d opt to try another dining option when next presented the opportunity to enjoy steaks in Austin.
