Ember Kitchen

I’d been wanting to check out Ember since it opened, so I was really excited to finally go. The drinks and appetizers were definitely the highlights—super flavorful and well-made. The entrées were solid too. Our server was great and kept up with us for most of the visit, which we really appreciated. We sat on the lower deck, and the atmosphere was amazing—it really added to the whole experience. I’d love to come back, especially for the drinks and to try more of the appetizers.

She was professional, friendly and went above and beyond to ensure an outstanding experience. We were grateful to have been seated in her section, and hope to dine with her at Ember again soon.

My husband and I had a date night 11/26/24 (better late than never) and treated ourselves! We sat at the chef's counter and had Kameryn as our server. He was very attentive and had knowledge of the menu; giving us amazing recommendations on both food and drinks. Chef Wallace was so involved with the whole kitchen and took time to tell us about how everything ran. They both took our experience to the next level and it was an amazing night to say the least! The decor and atmosphere was modern yet comfortable. I adore the plants everywhere! Everything was very clean and organized and I am including the kitchen that we could see from the counter!Let's just say we for sure were back within the week with friends and family to try the brunch!!!

The staff was so kind and had great customer service. The food was unique with flavor and were some of the best dishes i’ve had in Austin. The drinks were great and went perfectly with every meal. Great place for a girls night, date night, or even family dinner. The environment had great music, lightening, and the mood was perfect. Would recommend to anyone wanting to try something new!

I cannot say enough good things about Ember. We did the Chefs Experience dinner during our girls trip and I would recommend dining this way for others. Tina was our server and she was absolutely phenomenal. Knowledgeable and passionate about her work. Every person behind the counter was friendly and they worked together very well as a team. The food was flawless, I was left speechless which does not happen often. Everything just melted in your mouth and the flavor profiles were on point. They easily catered to my gluten free restrictions. If I lived in Austin, I’d be a regular. Thank you for an incredible experience

I cannot say enough good things about Ember. We did the Chefs Experience dinner during our girls trip and I would recommend dining this way for others. Tina was our server and she was absolutely phenomenal. Knowledgeable and passionate about her work. Every person behind the counter was friendly and they worked together very well as a team. The food was flawless, I was left speechless which does not happen often. Everything just melted in your mouth and the flavor profiles were on point. My partner and I sat at the chef's table and couldn't have been happier with that choice. Seeing the magic unfold from crafting the food to communication between chef and staff was worth every penny. The food was delicious from first bite of the skewers to the last bite of dessert. The cocktails were also tasty, especially the surprise 'welcome shot.' The whole experience made for a fun and delightful night out for dinner. Can't recommend this place enough!!

Overall, it was a pretty mediocre experience. Probably more for the bar flies who want a snack rather than a serious fine dining experience. The restaurant overall is basically a bar where you appear to be always 10 feet away from. The service was horrible, from being seated to entre was 1 hour and 30 minutes. As an example, water is served without ice. After asking for ice cubes, it took 10 minutes. Finally, the food is presented in a very pleasing manner. I ordered the pork chop, and it was tough as leather. The potatoes were quite good until I got to the sauce underneath. The heat, spiciness, was not for the faint of heart.

We had an absolutely amazing anniversary dinner. The food was incredible and the service was amazing. The only thing I would comment on is when we first got there we were seated next to a very large and loud table… I’d rather have had a more intimate setting. However as soon as that party left we felt way more comfortable and the waiter and hostess were very accommodating and offered to put us at a table upstairs. They also made us an anniversary card which was very sweet and we were sad that we accidentally left it at the table. We did get a photo though! Highly recommend!
