Recently had a great night celebrating a birthday for a friend. This was our first visit and definitely was not disappointed by the experience. Jake was our waiter who was very professional, explained the menu and gave recommendations for different foods and drinks. Excellent food and service!! We will most certainly be back soon. Jake is the best!! Our reservation for the back room was perfect for us to celebrate and have conversations. Especially with the entire restaurant being packed.

Dean’s Italian Steakhouse is absolutely exceptional! From the moment we arrived, the service and ambiance were impeccable. Our server, Lawrence, was phenomenal—attentive, accommodating, and flawless in managing our group of 10. Every request was met with ease, and his professionalism made our dining experience seamless. The food was simply outstanding. The shrimp pasta was flavorful and perfectly cooked, the steaks were tender and expertly prepared, and the mashed potatoes were absolutely unforgettable. To top it off, the bread pudding dessert was a delicious finale that we’re still raving about. The entire staff was welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing experience. Dean’s is a must-visit for anyone seeking incredible food, impeccable service, and an overall unforgettable dining experience. Highly recommend!

Great setting, service and food. My steak was perfectly cooked. For starters, we got an order of Bone Marrow. Which was a large portion for the price and would recommend. Also ordered the Onion Soup. Nice crust on the outside and cooked to perfection inside (medium). The mushrooms were not overcooked, firm and the red wine reduction was very flavorful. Dean's is a must try Steakhouse in Austin. Without naming other places, this has been one of the best fine dinning restaurants in Austin.

We visited Deans on New Year’s Eve to celebrate our anniversary, and the experience fell a bit short of expectations. I called a day in advance to confirm if they’d have happy hour on NYE, and I was assured they would. However, when we arrived, there was no happy hour offered at either bar due to it being NYE. The food was decent, but nothing truly remarkable. What stood out most was the service. Our server was attentive and kind, which we appreciated. That said, we requested a second round of bread from three different staff members but never received it, which was disappointing. Overall, it was just an okay experience. We were hoping for something a bit more memorable for such a special occasion.

We came here to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary! Amber was our waitress and was so lovely! I really enjoyed my steak and the bread they brought to the table :) My husband surprised me with roses that were on the table when we arrived. And our dessert was on the house for our anniversary. The ambiance was amazing. Be aware that if it’s a weekend night or there’s an event, valet can be a bit slow so budget extra time for that. The restaurant is inside the Marriott hotel and we didn’t realize that until we pulled up. But there were lots of great photo ops in our fancy outfit inside the hotel.

Amber was a knowledgeable and personable server and the food delicious and ambiance dark and sexy. She overheard me say how much I like creamed spinach but we didn’t order it as I felt we had enough food for us to share, but she surprised me with it when dinner came anyways. I’m so glad she did bc the spinach was possibly the best I’ve ever had. The bourbon barrel aged filet was melt in your mouth! I’d def come back for date night or a special occasion!

An absolutely fantastic dining experience. Service was on point, the waitstaff was able to provide decisive and excellent recommendations and steered us into a perfect meal. There were plenty of options on the menu for appetizers, small plates, but also steaks of every cut and size. The wine selection was comprehensive and once again, we were steered towards an incredible bottle.

Amazing food and experience! The wedge salad, sweet potato cass, and crab cake cant be missed. I loved my steak and it was cooked perfectly, however I think I am used to the way I make mine where I add butter and pour the juice from the skillet onto mine, so I felt it could use a little more "juice" and flavor to it. But great experience, great meal and amazing service from all
