We had a phenomenal dinner here for a friends birthday. It’s pricey but the service was amazing and so was the food! One of the best parts was the ambience and the appetizers. We’ll certainly be back for the next special occasion!

We had an amazing dinner here celebrating my husband’s birthday. The service was above and beyond, our waiter, despite being pretty young was VERY knowledgeable about the wine selection which is a huge plus for us and hard to find in Austin it seems. The portions were huge, way bigger than I was expecting and everything was very tasty including the dessert. Another waiter who dropped off our food even took an awesome photo of us. We will definitely be returning for special occasions in the future and this is now my new favorite steakhouse!

Went in for Monday Happy Hour and oh my goodness my recommendation is to order ~everything~ Every dish we got was incredible. The deviled eggs was particularly special - the perfect amount of truffle flavor, and the Wagyu tartare was a beautifully executed. I tried the pasta and it was delicious. All in all, Jeffrey’s is a must try in Austin - especially on Monday evenings at the bar!

Michelin missed them and that is a travesty. They brought back the martini cart!!!! Yassss! Not a single aspect of the service to the meal was missed. We did want an after dinner drink and were told we couldn’t sit in the bar for one when there was bar tables that they sat 1 person (no one was waiting) on when the seating allowed for 2 people at each tiny table. There were 2 tables side by side. . Apparently spending $400+ for dinner doesn't allow for an after dinner drink. Oh they did offer to serve in the hall of the entrance. Yeah they’ll take your $50 for 2 drinks but not inside. Yeah no thanks. Everything else? Was perfect. So I will give them the 5 stars they deserve. Our gal was a multitasker at the cart! I was stirred, my dinner companion shaken. Go girl!

Reservation needed, even for a Monday night in January! The food was excellent- we had tarts of beef tartar, petit tenderloin, New York Strip, fillet of sole- all delicious and tender. The staff is very knowledgeable about the food and wines, professional yet relaxed. A welcoming card on our table for a special celebration was sweet. Fine dining, intimate lighting, valet parking.

It's been a few years since we've been in but it was as good as always. They have a Carrot Opera Cake that sounded good but when it arrived we were underwhelmed by it and in taste as well. Everything else was wonderful but our waitress could have been a bit friendlier. She was a tad stiff and never had a very pleasant look on her face but all others were fabulous.

Food is great, service was ok. We came for our anniversary and a couple of not so good things stood out. First, we only had a card that said Happy Anniversary, but the table next to us also had their names written on the card. That was a nice personal touch. Second, other than the generic card that is probably reused, nothing special was done. Not expecting free dessert or anything but maybe writing something on the plate or having a sparkler would have been a nice touch. It also seemed like we were sitting on anniversary row at the packed tables in the bar area, along with everyone else celebrating. For spending $400 between 2 people for a 20 year anniversary it was underwhelming. The food was definitely the star and our server didn’t check on us enough. The person filling the water was on point! Not sure if we’ll be coming back anytime soon.
