Many reviews highlight the expertly cooked steaks, particularly the wagyu and filet mignon, which are noted for their perfect preparation and seasoning. The atmosphere is described as romantic and reminiscent of an old-fashioned steakhouse, contributing to a memorable dining experience. Complimentary desserts and attentive waitstaff add to the overall satisfaction, making special occasions feel even more celebrated. Outstanding food and service. My wife and I hadn't been there together. We celebrated our 10-yr anniversary. We ordered the wagyu filet and it was spectacular. Potatoes were top notch as were the veggies. They brought us a complimentary mega dessert which was a huge bonus! Highly recommend!!!!

We were seated quickly. Josh and Sam were our waiters and gave excellent service and advice. The 9 oz filet was cooked perfectly and seasoned deliciously. The Sancere wine did not disappoint and the advice to get Key lime pie was on point. Excellent experience. Very romantic evening.

We were in Austin for the weekend and made a reservation for a nice dinner. Bob’s delivered. Great service, food and atmosphere. Old steakhouse vibe. I had the filet and it was cooked perfectly. I also got a side of béarnaise. For desert I got a chocolate martini! Yum.

We had Thanksgiving lunch at Bob’s and the whole experience was exceptional. Just a good, ild-fashioned steakhouse. The ambiance knocked my socks off as soon as we walked in the door. Cocktails were exceptional, best espresso martini I’ve ever had. The waitstaff were extremely attentive and everyone was patient with our wild toddlers. I’ll definitely be back.

This year, we decided to do something a little nontraditional for Thanksgiving and go out for dinner. It was our daughter's recommendation to visit Bob's, and I am very happy and proud to report that we could not have chosen a better place to celebrate the holiday. We actually arrived about 20 minutes early for our reservation, but were shown right to our table. Although I am sure this isn't the case during a non-holiday weekend during peak hours. Upon first walking in, the dining room seemed extremely dark, but it shouldn't be much of a surprise as it was mid-afternoon when we arrived. However, shortly after being seated, the lighting seemed very natural. Our waiter was warm, friendly and very attentive. He offered honest, on point answers to every question asked, and was eager to make a recommendation when asked. He never seemed overly rushed, and took the time to joke and cajole. The menu is an efficient single page, unlike some establishments that have pages and pages of things, trying to have a full menu of steaks, a whole menu of seafood, menu of pasta, chicken, and Mexican. Bob's menu is simple and complete with a great selection of signature steaks, several appetizer choices, and a few seafood dishes to balance things out. Tuna tartar and fried lobster were chosen as appetizers, and when they arrived, I knew that we were in for something special. The tuna was soft and mild with an extremely fresh taste. The fried lobster was light and crispy and perfectly breaded, and was served a mild buttery sauce on the side. The wait for our entrees was not too long and everything delivered was finely plated. Waygu medallions with seared scallops, blackened redfish with risotto, rack of lamb, and a 45-day dry aged steak were our entrees and I simply do not have adequate works to describe the joy experienced in every single bite. Side dished seem to be an afterthought at many places, but not here.nd whatever you do, you simply must have their signature carrot, Moving on to dessert, carrot cake, pumpkin cheesecake, and creme brulee were wonderfully prepared, but I must say everyone at the table was a bit jealous of my bread pudding. When you are looking for your next special evening out, please give Bob's your consideration. Everything we encountered was top notch and I am confident you will find it so too

We had an impeccable meal here for our 25th Anniversary and they treated us like royalty. Our wonderful server Lisa greeted us at our table with some complimentary champagne and it kicked off a truly fine dining experience we both thought was one of, if not THE best meal we’ve had in town over the years. We ordered the shrimp platter which were all well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Our next course was my wife’s 9oz Prime Filet and my Filet Medallions and Garlic Broiled Lobster which were both expertly seasoned and cooked. Finished it off with an incredible Crème Brûlée and a nightcap and it was the cherry on top of an excellently presented, well orchestrated Anniversary meal. We are surely coming back to Bob’s after this experience. Highly recommend them.

Made reservation in OpenTable for 8pm on a Friday. We were seated right away. As soon as we got to the table we ordered a few drinks from the bar. The drinks took over 30 minutes to get to us :( Then we ordered the appetizers which also took about 20-30 minutes to get to our table. The scallops were really tender and tasty. The calamari was also crispy and cooked to perfection. For the main course, we ordered the steak and lobster. The waitress recommend the fried lobster over the grilled, which seemed strange due to the fact we ordered calamari for the first course (so we already ate something fried that evening). The filet minion was cooked to perfection and extremely tender, that was the best part of the meal! Also ordered the lobster Mac and cheese which was amazing with a strong taste of Gruyère. The entire dining experience took about 2 hours in total. The food was good, maybe exceptional, but the amount of time we waited for everything was not worth it. You are paying the big bucks to eat here for a reason :(

Great staff and amazing steaks. Our waiter was extremely attentive. Filet mignons were cooked perfectly for the temps that we ordered them at. Caesar salad with anchovy slices was perfect. Couldn’t have asked for a better meal.
