Customer Review Summary
Overall, Steak Street received mixed reviews. Food quality is generally praised, with standout dishes like the Bourbon steak, bourbon chicken, and ribeye. However, some items, such as the oysters and certain sides, were considered subpar. Service was described as friendly and attentive, but inconsistencies and confusion about reservations were noted. Many reviewers experienced delays, and some felt that their food was not hot or adequately seasoned. The atmosphere of the restaurant was positively mentioned, offering a clean and pleasant dining experience. While some patrons enjoyed their meal and expressed a willingness to return, others found the service and food quality disappointing, leading to a lack of interest in a second visit. The pricing was considered reasonable for a steakhouse, but some felt the food did not justify the cost.

Food was great. The Bourbon steak was excellent. The garlic mash was good. Onion ring not so much. The bourbon chicken was also very good. They oysters was not great . However the overall food experience was good The service was excellent. The server was very friendly and attentive however seem like he was new. Was not very knowledgeable of the dishes. However that did not diminish the service quality.

Emailed management prior to leaving a review and never heard back after quite the disappointing experience here and it appears they do not manage or respond on Google. We made a reservation to be safe and arrived 30 minutes early. They were busy so weren't ready for us and that is completely fine, we had no issue waiting at the bar and having a couple drinks. We arrived at 7 for our 7:30 reservation and sat at the bar until a little after 8. Then I got an email saying our reservation was cancelled. I went to the host station where the employees we first spoke to were there and couple others. There was confusion as if they forgot about us and a waiter was complaining about us being sat and that they were out of glasses. Shortly after we got sat and a waiter later took our drink order. Then another waiter comes to take our drink order, and we let him know it had been taken already. Then there seemed to be a frustration that someone may have taken his table, and he started asking questions about who took our order. We then had the original waiter come back and continue to serve us. We ordered and continued our dining. Our food took a while and wasn't very warm. My baked potato was good although cool and the steak was mediocre. My companion had to salt his food quite a bit and said it wasn't very warm either. The Caesar salad was probably the best part of my meal honestly and was cool as it should be. Not sure I'd come back; the bartender was very nice and served us well when there. I was hoping to hear from management and seeing if things were different next time. I don't mind waiting or paying for quality however this wasn't a very good service experience, did cost and wasn't the best of quality as you'd expect from such a nice establishment. It also wasn't as if we just showed up either. As you can see in photos, we were there, and I have an email where our reservation was cancelled although the restaurant had cleared out and had room for us. No one came up to talk to us. The young hostess wasn't the most helpful or pleasant, she may have had a bad day otherwise working at the front end of a business may not be for her.

I had made a big purchase and my cousin wanted to celebrate. I am from out of town, so she selected this location. It gave me a fine dining location when we arrived. I ordered steak, mash, and asparagus it was good. However, I would prefer to cut on my own steak.

Took wife here for her Bday with her parents. Friendly employees. Clean place. Nice atmosphere. Quick service. For 4 people at a steak house, price not bad. Very good food. Had 2 appetizers, gator bites and calamari, both very good. We had the steak street ribeye, salmon and bourbon chicken. All were very good. Will be back again.

The food is delicious, seasoned to perfection. Some menu items such as drinks are somewhat overpriced. But overall it was a good experience.

Our server Channele was professional, courteous, pleasant, and extremely warm! The foods were tasty, solid, and delicious! Great place to have a meal with memories!

Beautiful on the inside. The soup definitely did not stand up to its name, was disappointed. It contained corn but no crab at all. The beef, mash, and asparagus was good, but left me drinking water throughout the night and the next morning.

Our dining experience at Steak Street in High Point was unfortunately mediocre. The ambiance of the restaurant was decent, providing a comfortable setting for our meal. However, the service we received was just okay, lacking the attentiveness and warmth we expected. As for the food, it was fair but left much to be desired. My wife ordered the fillet with asparagus and a baked potato. While the steak was cooked to her preference, it lacked seasoning, making the overall dish rather bland. The asparagus and baked potato were standard, but nothing stood out in terms of flavor. I opted for the Cajun chicken pasta, hoping for a flavorful and spicy dish. Unfortunately, it too was underwhelming. The pasta was overcooked, and the chicken lacked the bold Cajun seasoning that I was expecting. The dish was palatable but not impressive. One positive note was the menu, which offered a great variety of options. Despite this, the food we received did not justify the higher prices. It felt overpriced given the quality and lack of seasoning in the dishes. Overall, we were disappointed with our lackluster service and bland food. Given this experience, we do not plan to return to Steak Street in the future.
