Customer Review Summary

Monksmobile is praised for its welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food, particularly the Bacon qt pounder and cheesesteaks. Many customers appreciate the quality of the ingredients and the made-to-order menu. However, there are complaints regarding food safety and customer service, including reports of unsanitary conditions and poor handling of order issues. While some found the turkey burger commendable, it has since been removed from the menu, disappointing regulars. Overall, customer experiences vary, with strong endorsements for the food clashing with significant concerns about service and hygiene.

I went yesterday with my son. We felt very welcomed. The owners , husband & wife, the host/ their son was very friendly and explained different items on the menu. Food was great.. Tried the Bacon qt pounder and it was fantastic 👍🏽👍🏽 They thanked me for coming & looking forward to my next visit.

Incredible Cheesesteak. Wife and I love these sandwiches. We make them at home, we try all sorts of places, even tried them in Philly. There are only 2 places in the US that I've loved more than any others and Monk's is one of them. Other is Wario's in Columbus, Ohio. All around juicy, flavorful, ingredients all balanced and cooked just right. Cannot wait to come back.

I have always Door dashed food from here but I happened to have time to stop and place a takeout order. It's a nice little restaurant with great food, kind of reminds me of a diner. I always order the turkey burger and fries from here and the burger itself is always juicy and full of flavor. The fries are nice crisp and crunchy and I haven't had a bad batch ever. It was not crowded at all and a lot people actually came in for pick up orders. The staff is friendly and very helpful. If you want a good turkey burger this is the place to get it from. Update they no longer sell the turkey burger.

First of all there was an ant in my sisters cup!! Their sweet tea machine is infested. I had them to remake my chili cheese fries , ( didn’t take any pictures) but there was 2 pieces of hair in the fries. The man talking about it’s no hair and he has big glasses he must be blind! Then I ask for a refund, not knowing they didn’t take refunds. After I found out . just took my second fries and ask for ketchup the man throws the ketchup at me. I guess he is the business owner but very unprofessional and nasty business!! They have hair cooked with the chili. This picture uploaded as you can see is the 2nd set of fries and there it’s clear there is hair on the plate. I’d just advise everybody to check there food and drinks.

Order takeout for lunch and I enjoyed the food. I would request ny wings to be fried extra crispy next time. The monk bacon burger was messy but tasty! Food was ready when I arrived and they have a pick-up window which is a plus if you're on the move.

Excellent food quality and service. The menu is "just right" and focuses on what they do best. Everything is made to order, so no re-heating or heat lamps. The owners are the nicest people with good humor. No frills, but cool vibes. 😎

I absolutely love this place. I am new to this restaurant and have found a place I’ll go to any and everyday if needed. I love the fact that you can taste every bit of live in the food. The passion, the drive, the fun. I came in looking for a normal cheesesteak and was wowed when I was allowed to add chili. This is the first and only place I will ever add chili to anything on the menu. Absolutely delicious. Please try it. I know you’ll love it

I unfortunately had a bad customer service experience today after patronizing the restaurant for at least a year now. I ordered and paid online and immediately realized that something was added to my subs by mistake within seconds and tried to call the restaurant phone number provided on google and the confirmation text. Instead of a person at the restaurant answering there was an automated message telling me to leave a message or press a button for a way to make a new order. Sadly, I was unable to notify anyone at the restaurant so when I arrived they said I need to place a new order and pay another $28. I would highly recommend that the owner designate someone to answer the phone during business hours so that customers can speak to someone directly in the case this happens with a customer again. Secondly, it is very poor choice to make a loyal customer pay twice for a small fix. Many blessings to the business but due to this my family and I will not return.
