Many guests enjoyed the food, highlighting the cocktails, truffle fries, gluten-free options, and delicious dessert like turtle cheesecake. Positive experiences were reported during events, such as class reunions and birthday parties, where the catering was described as fantastic with beautifully presented dishes. However, some reviewers criticized specific menu items, particularly the steaks, which were described as tough and lacking flavor. While some found the service exemplary and the food delightful, others felt the menu was limited or that certain dishes did not meet expectations given the pricing. First time here. It was warm and welcoming. All the food sounded good. The margarita was a tad strong but i think that's a good thing! I'll definitely return. What made this even better was getting to spend time with my dear friend ♥️.

MJ's hosted our 20 year class reunion. FANTASTIC experience from the first phone call til the last bite was eaten! Tad and his team were wonderful to work with and took excellent care of our party. Everything was delicious and I love that the kitchen and fryer are gluten free! Fried calamari was a fun treat I don't often get to enjoy. Thanks for making our evening special and for the tasty to go meals for family to enjoy later in the weekend!

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic, a great atmosphere! From the time we were seated until the time we left, our server, John, was so attentive, timely and professional! It was our first time dining here and it certainly won’t be the last!! We were having dinner celebrating my birthday! The cocktails were perfect and the food was fresh, beautiful presentation and so delicious!! Top that off, the turtle cheesecake was great as well! My only constructive feedback is parking, there was none available, so we had to park elsewhere and walk, so thankfully it wasn’t weathering at the time!

Tried MJ’s for the first time this weekend. Very limited menu which normally I like because it usually means they do a few things well. Not the case here. The good- Truffle fries were great. The bad- Both versions of the steak. The 22oz was tough and not much flavor and my girlfriend’s smaller steak was not good at all. Maybe they just can’t make a good steak and are good at other dishes but it costed $180 to find out only to grab food on the way home.

Iam from new York and i was Looking for food that wasnt loaded with salt and butter and I believe I found it! My waitress was phenomenal, great personality. I noticed the gentleman waiting on the other table, and he was even better. I can see the people take pride in what's going on in the restaurant. My meal was also good. Never in a million years would I mix pickled cucumbers with calamari, but, I must say it was so good together. The shrimp and grits were loaded with flavor although I would have opted for less sauce if I had known. But great tastes altogether. I will return and I absolutely recommend it. Special thanks to my waitress although I dont remember her name.

I drove past this restaurant for years with hopes to always try this restaurant….. Well on 05/13/24 I finally gave this restaurant a try I was very disappointed because i Chose them over Firebird. I think chilli’s would’ve been better tbh. I got there at 710pm. I order our appetizer it was subpar those were regular fries just with can gravy and hard cheese stuck together ( nasty). We had “ two steaks of the day” which were nasty it took us a long time to Chew are steak which was Medium Well, seem like like medium raw still bloody and had a lot of pink not medium pink. The steak probably came from Walmart I never had a trash steak like that in my life. Capital grill would never do me like that and I eat at a lot of steak houses For two meals, 1 appetizer and 1 mix drink bill was 109. I don’t believe it was worth that price. I believe Longhorn would’ve out did this restaurant sadly. It had no taste. I wait 1 hr for food which came out room temperature even though the waitress said it was coming out the oven. That was a lie. My glass of water got filled once. Please before going here think twice. I wish I could get a refund. Have a nice day !

This was a nice dining experience. Very quaint setting with nice decor. The service is excellent, but the menu was heavy on seafood. Had the Fillet Medallions, which were tender and cooked perfectly, but the sauce was OKish and the portion size was small. Manhattan Clam chowder was good as well. This was a good meal, but not on par with the pricing. Parking is limited on site but parking across the street is easy. Enjoy!!

I recently hosted a birthday party catered by MJ's, and it was an unforgettable experience! The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented—the folks who attended are still raving about the mini crabcakes. The variety of options they had available ensured everyone found something they loved, and everything arrived hot and on time. The staff at MJ's truly went above and beyond. Rachel was attentive, friendly, and made sure every detail was perfect, allowing me to relax and enjoy the celebration. The whole process was seamless, and her professionalism shone through every interaction. If you're looking for a caterer who will make your event special with amazing food and impeccable service, MJ's is the one to choose. Highly recommended!
