This restaurant does not take reservations….we only had to wait 10 mins at 7 pm on a Sunday evening. Waitress was great. She made sure we were happy with everything. Food was amazing! Ribeye was perfectly cooked (med rare). She crab soup & salads were both excellent. We will def return!

Ribeye was delicious. The mashed potatoes weren’t as thick as I would have liked them to be, I thought they were instant potatoes at first. Very nice servers and host 🙂

Amazing apps, good steaks, all around solid spot! I came here for a work dinner the other night. We were a party of 15 and although originally intended to sit inside, one of the hosts let us know there was a spot outside that would be available sooner. They have an extensive wine menu as well as plenty of beers and a standard cocktail menu. Not a huge deal at all, but I do wish they had some N/A / mocktail offerings, a lot of places are expanding in that area and I think it would be nice if Outwest did too! I settled for a diet coke though while everyone else mostly had beers and old-fashioneds. One person did get a blue motorcycle which looked pretty interesting. For apps, we ordered just about "one of each" (my foodie dream come true) - the prime rib sliders, crab dip, filet medallions, blackened shrimp, mushrooms, and we even went for the lamb entree (as a starter!). I also had a bowl of the French onion soup. App-wise...all delicious! Filet medallions were cooked and seasoned perfectly (also made me excited for my entree because I had arrived set on a surf+turf), the blackened shrimp and avocado salsa hit the spot. The prime rib sliders...so so good (meat was super tender and juicy, the au jus was just a bonus), and even though I'm not big on mushrooms, they were fantastic as well. I don't have lamb often, but when I do, it normally does not disappoint, and this was no exception. It was also cooked and seasoned perfectly. The bread and butter were good too - piping hot rolls and a slightly softened/whipped butter. And we haven't even hit the main course! Pretty much everyone ordered a filet/prime rib and lobster tail. I also ordered the stuffed tomatoes as a premium side. I only requested the 7oz cut but barely made a dent in it after sampling all of the apps. My filet was delicious, cooked medium, and the lobster tail was huge - a lot larger than I had been expecting. I will say flavor wise, nothing compares to a fresh Maine lobster, but this serving certainly compensated in size for what it lacked in that special Maine touch! And finally for dessert - their special was apple cobbler cheesecake. As enticing as that was though (and plenty of others did order it), I went with the oreo crumb cheesecake and was very content with that decision. Only made it about 3 bites in before asking for a box! To make a long review short, this was a great spot for a teambuilding dinner and I would definitely recommend it for a similar function. I'd come on my own dime, but I definitely wouldn't be ordering as extensively-ha! Service was great, friendly, and very hospitable. Glasses were never empty and it seemed that dishes were being served continuously!

We love OutWest Steakhouse, service, is always on point, the food is always GREAT! The only one thing I’m not necessarily happy about it is the Bread, the hard dinner rolls need to be replaced, with some good Yeast Rolls, that is the only one thing that is keeping me from giving a five star rating. We eat here at least three or times a month, and have never been dissatisfied.

Fresh food. Great service from the hostesses to our server Zack! I tried some different and while the salmon was delicious the texture was a little on the dry side. The flavor was great! The sides were amazing and very fresh! The Bibb and Beet salad was different, but I would definitely order it again. It's hard to explain the flavor and freshness other than try it for yourself if you are looking for something different. The candied pecans and the dressing used made for a perfect balance! I still love the burgers and I'm looking forward to my next visit to have the crab dip, salad and a burger. Excellent Service from Zach!!!

Took a south/east road trip between TN and VA, which was breath-taking and heart-breaking at the same time… and on the way back home stopped at OutWest. The experience was nothing short of amazing. Despite the hour wait for a table, the ambiance was perfect. Got delicious recommendations, and very seldom I get to have such phenomenal steak. After having the meal, could not pass up the desert that was taken to go which also did not dissappoint. Definitely recommend, and wish it was closer…

We arrived at Outwest in Kernersville, on a Saturday evening around 6 pm, and were seated promptly. They do not accept reservations. The restaurant occupancy was at about 80% capacity. The food at Outwest was wonderful, particularly the 16 ounce ribeye steak with onion ribbon meal which included one side. This was one of the items they had featured for the evening. It was perfectly seasoned and delicious, the sweet potato was also cooked to perfection. I ordered a side salad (additional $4), with warm bacon vinaigrette that was to die for! The other entree ordered was the beef skewer (filet mignon with Roma tomatoes, green peppers, onions and mushrooms) with a sweet potato, and added a crab cake with roasted red pepper remoulade (additional $9). This entree was ok but nothing special. The skewer, had very little seasoning, and the crab cake was very small and almost tasteless. Service was exceptional, our waiter did a great job! The restaurant was very nice and had great ambiance. I'm already looking forward to visiting again in the near future.
