Customer Review Summary
B. Christopher's is praised for its charming atmosphere, intimate feel, and excellent service. The food receives high marks, particularly the tuna, beef carpaccio, filet, and innovative desserts like cream brulee corn and chocolate torte. Some guests enjoyed their experiences on date nights, especially with well-cooked steaks and interesting appetizers, while others had concerns about overcooked meat and unremarkable sides. Reservations before shows are recommended, and the restaurant has a cozy feel with private seating options. However, there are mixed reviews on the overall food quality, with some noting that certain dishes did not meet expectations and service could be inconsistent. Overall, many guests see B. Christopher's as a fine dining gem worth revisiting, while some suggest it mainly attracts an older crowd. The bar and cocktails are also highlighted as potential draws for casual visitors.

A charming location, intimate feel, thoughtful service, and excellent food. It's been a long time since I felt so well cared for at a restaurant. Truly a fine dining experience. We loved the tuna and the beef carpaccio appetizers. I am not a fish person, but that tuna was delicious. My husband ordered the surf and turf and I the filet for our mains. Both exceptional. The duck fat potatoes were a favorite. I think the most innovative dish was the cream brulee corn! It is not to be missed. And the chocolate torte was a truffle that melts in your mouth. Divine. You also get to choose your steak knife, which is a fun little addition! Thank you for hosting us and our little girl, who also enjoyed every bite :-)

Great for a date night. Excellent service. Had the special soft shell crab appetizer and bone in filet. Our steaks had a good crust on the outside but unfortunately led to being overcooked on the edges. Centers were the requested temps (rare and medium rare). Overall enjoyed the atmosphere and will be back.

Nice place across the street from Center City Park and a block from Tanger Center. Made reservations for dinner before a show. Enjoyed the wedge salad, Surf and Turf and Goat Cheese stuffed Portobello Mushroom, and chocolate tart dessert to share. Dessert seemed to be made else where or just bought and served w some raspberry and cream. Tried their version of a Manhattan and nice glass of Chardonnay as well. Overall nice experience, cozy place with private areas as well available for seating. Food though wasn’t what we hoped for though. The Surf and Turf, shown without the scallops in the picture was ok but not something I would order again. Shrimp and scallops almost seemed boiled as there was no browning on the scallops or shrimp. Filet was sliced but wasn’t as warm as we would have liked. Bread was a generous portion but cold in the middle. Not sure if this is baked and reheated before serving but it would explain it. Some other things we noticed this place seems to cater to an older crowd and not sure how or if they want to transition to a younger audience as you get the ole boys club feel here. They also do some things that come across a little bit silly, offering to you to select from a tray with steak knives attached, your choice of steak knife. 🔪 A table option of sweet pickled olives and pickles. Just didn’t match w the restaurant. Would possibly try this again on another night to give it another shot or try the bar for cocktails and desserts before a show.

Dined here within the last few days. Server was nice but inexperienced and not properly trained for this restaurant. Calamari and bacon wrapped appetizers were very good. In house baked bread was excellent but served with what tasted like margarine. Dressing on the wedge salads was marginal. Steaks were were good but not very flavorful. Sides were good. Desert were not offered. Prices were moderate. Hostess was welcoming. Overall quality was dropped from my past visits.

Where do I start? I booked a room at the Hyatt downtown and searched for a good restaurant in the vicinity. However, the restaurant was not a good one. It was not a great one. It was best described as divine. Let me say, I am a proud patron of fine dining. I don’t consider myself pretentious, but I can recognize and appreciate elevated cuisine when I see it. Especially since the pandemic, because expectations have been lowered so much for obvious reasons. I arrived at B. Christopher’s at my 7pm reservation and was immediately seated at a lovely table facing the street through a large panoramic glass window. I started with a delicious oyster Rockefeller. My wife ordered a bowl of an herbaceous French onion soup paired with an iceberg salad wedge that was very simple and elegantly presented. I ordered a main course of filet of beef served Oscar style with a velvety bernaise sauce. As a side, I had a delectable corn brûlée and roasted asparagus spears. The bread served with this dish was airy, light, but with a dense and crispy crust. Delicious! I hadn’t planned on dessert, however, the main courses, and appetizers had exceeded expectations, so I felt compelled to proceed. I chose the fried beneigts with raspberry coulis. It was an exquisite choice. Warm, flaky, with the added acidic jolt from the coulis….truly a joyous culinary experience. I don’t remember the last time I was so impressed with technique, presentation, service, and ambience. I recommend this restaurant with all confidence. It was truly a fine dining delight. Cheers❤️

We had a great experience at B Christopher's! We had a large party of 8 and sat in a separate room. The food was all incredible. The oysters were fresh and the steaks were cooked perfectly! All of the desserts were incredible! The one and only issue is that we ordered cheesecake and coffee that never came but we weren't charged for them so it wasn't a big issue. We will be back for sure!!

I can never say enough about this place ! I absolutely love love love this restaurant. The bartender Jason makes the best Dark and stormy I ever had. He alone made my fiancé and I forever customers. If you’re looking for the best meal in town, don’t walk… RUN to book a reservation.
