We had a wonderful 38th anniversary celebration. First the service was excellent. All the staff were nice, friendly and knowledgeable but our server was absolutely the best-simply amazing! He even captured the moment for us in great pictures with my phone and a special camera light that he carried. Then all the food was first class quality and so tasty. Started with She crab soup that was delicious and at 66 years old the best I have ever had. The meal was accompanied with a basket of wonderful fresh rolls. The entrees we selected were a special featured Grouper Piccata and the popular Ribeye steak. Both were perfectly prepared and well presented. The flavors were divine! The steak came with a nice salad. Other side items we had were grilled asparagus, green beans, and garlic red skinned mashed potatoes. All tasty. The dessert was a chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Overall an excellent meal served by caring staff in a warm atmosphere. I highly recommend The Porterhouse Grill for a special meal.

We are here twice before about a year ago and the food was excellent and the place was packed. This trip was very different. Food was not good (it is also very expensive) and the restaurant was practically empty. Ordered the prime rib and they were out of it at 5:00. The only positive was our server. We used to recommend Porterhouse to our friends but after this time we will not return.

Excellent dining experience for my kids 21st birthday! They took reservations which was great. Food was excellent, staff was friendly and service was great! Nice dining room, but not too stuffy and fancy. Appetizers and steaks were delicious! Unfortunately, we ate so much in the main course that we didn't have room for dessert.

Horrible service. It was move in weekend but somehow they were totally unprepared. No one came over for 20 minutes. My steak took 90 minutes to come out and was overdone and inedible. They told me “6 minutes to replace” but 20 minutes later my server said “oh your food didn’t come out?” Someone else in our party got crabcakes and they were mush. They comped my steak because it was inedible but I still spent $250 for four people (including me with no entree) and I couldn’t even get a free beer for my inconvenience. Horrible experience and horrible service. Total rip off and they just took advantage of me because I didn’t get angry with them. There wasn’t even a manager in sight. Avoid this place at all costs. Sure it was a busy weekend and I tried to be understanding, but there is zero chance it is competently run on any other nights.

Came in after a long day of work. It was close to closing and the kitchen was already closed. A polite gentleman by the name of Anthony offered to cook a ribeye steak for me. It was very sincere and he cooked the steak perfectly to medium rare. Thank you

Cozy and romantic for a date night or perfect for a “fancy” family dinner. Food was delicious and service was fantastic! The bread is very good! I ordered the filet and it was cooked perfectly medium, tender, and juicy. My broccoli was cooked perfect with just the right amount of crunch. Can’t wait to go back!

It has been several years since I have been to Porterhouse, and what an incredible experience it was! Anthony (GM and Head-Chef) has really turned that place around! It was a full restaurant on a Friday evening, and the atmosphere had a great vibe. Happy conversations and clinking of silverware could be heard throughout the dining room. The staff and service was awesome! They were very polite, knowledgeable, friendly, and most of all, had a sense of urgency. Everyone was hustling! And the food...good gracious. That was hands-down the BEST steak I have ever had from a restaurant, ever! Although the price tags might be a bit steep upon first glance, the whole dining experience was well-worth it. After 15 years of my own experience in food-service, I don't say this lightly! Porterhouse is reclaiming it's stand as a fine-dining restaurant, and my family and I will definitely be going back!

I typically don't leave reviews but given the cost of this restaurant, my standards are a little higher. There was obviously a staffing problem from the beginning. The bar tender was very nice but had the bar and several tables by herself. It took 45 minutes + to get our food. I had to ask for utensils. The order was not correct, the fries were cold, and the medium-rare steak was well-done. Not the service or quality I would expect on a home-game weekend. I probably won't be back here any time soon.
