Let me start by saying the entire experience was amazing. There was about a 5 minute wait, so we sat at the bar and my aunt got a Bulldog Spritz which she enjoyed and her friend got a Passionfruit Gimlet. They both loved them and ended up getting another during dinner. Speaking of dinner, we all started out with a salad and the Caesar, balsamic, and vidalia bacon dressing were all delicious and the salads were very fresh. As with dinner, I got the piloncillo & black pepper crusted hangar, which was absolutely insane and better than I had expected even though my expectations were already very high. My friend got the new struggleville pasta and he said it was the “best pasta I ever had in my life. Better than almost I’ve had un Italy”. I also tried it, it was to die for. Both my Aunt & her friend got the horseradish crusted salmon which was so delicious. The horseradish flavor was just right and the salmon was cooked perfectly. As for deserts, we had to get them after how good dinner was. We got the pumpkin cheesecake, toffee mocha cheesecake, white chocolate cheesecake, and the mocha layer cake. There wasn’t a bite left over. A few more details I would like to add is that it’s very cool how they cook right by you, and you can see them in action. Also, the menu’s font and feel was very home like and reminded me of my mothers cook book. Not to mention our waiter John, who was very nice and always attentive. Overall 10/10 experience, this made our day!

Great food and service, tried the green tomatoes which wasn't bad , the pork tenderloin was great and the Praline Chicken was ok though it was definitely unique. The white chocolate cheesecake was good as well , overall I highly recommend.

Very good food and nice presentations. We enjoyed the ambiance too. The person who served us was also good. The only downside, and the reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5, was the restrooms. They were very unclean. However, the food and everything else were awesome.

Went here one night during the week and was really excited to try it because I’ve heard great things! Place was cute and the server was really nice I was just disappointed in the food. To start they give you bread it was okay, but the butter tasted like straight walk-in refrigerator we couldn’t even eat it. I got the short rib and it’s supposed to be so tender it falls apart but I had to do some knife work to cut through it like a steak. Flavor was just okay, I don’t know if the green stuff on top was supposed to be the fresh herbs or “salsa Veracruz” but it just tasted like pesto and didn’t compliment the dish well. My friend had the struggleville pasta and couldn’t taste the black pepper in the sauce at all just heavy cream. Cool place maybe it was just an off night.

This place was amazing. Really good food and the prices were really good. We ate lunch on a Saturday and got the fried green tomatoes, New South Pork Roll and the Spinach Crab Benedict. So delicious!!! For dessert we got the white chocolate cheesecake. Oh my gosh!! I’m going to be dreaming about that cheesecake. The service and atmosphere was great! Loved it! If I ever get back to Athens Atlanta (which I hope I do) I’m definitely coming back to “The Last Resort”
