This was my first time dining at Watkinsville Chops & Hops, and it was an amazing experience, thanks to our server, Caden—I believe that was his name. He was a young professional with impressive knowledge and exceptional customer service. I arrived right at 11 AM when they opened and was warmly greeted and promptly seated. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was fantastic. I can’t wait to return. Thank you, Caden and the entire staff!

OK location. Outdoor seating faces parking lot. We were seated upstairs which was uncomfortably cold no matter where. The room upstairs lacks any character. The service was just ok. The food was decent but maybe a bit too salty. The beer menu is very good. Overall probably not worth the money.

Went to this restaurant for the first time to celebrate a birthday. The food was amazing. The waiter was amazing. However, I have never been to a restaurant where towards the end of your meal the manager came up and let us know that there was another reservation in 10 minutes for our table. We were not lingering, we were asked if we wanted a second drink and a dessert so we’re not really sure why she did that but we did find it to be extremely rude. Makes me think twice about going back..

As a chef, it's few and far between that center of the plate is awesome and sometimes outdone by something as simple as butter beans...collards, potatoes etc... Everything was amazing!! If you're truly hungry...give it a try. Oh, and my martini was top-notch. Hope I have an excuse to get back soon.

Went there for Valentines lunch. They had a Valentine menu, but We ordered from the dinner entrées. Wife Had the ribeye and I the sirloin steak. Both steaks were great, as were the mash potatoes. Go here often because we are rarely disappointed and the price seems more reasonable then other restaurants in the area. Also, my wife ordered a Long Island Iced Tea for $9. Was good for the price, but I am sure it would have been better if someone wanted to upgrade to top shelf brands(which is what I do at home). The service was great and the waitress had some great suggestions. And they have some super clean bathrooms.

The food was excellent. It's not a very large menu but what they have is very delicious. Everything was clean and neat and orderly. Inside was super cold. They had that air condition. I would definitely recommend this to other people.

One of the nicer steak places in the Watkinsville Athens area. It's not a high-end place like Ruth Chris or Morton's, for the area it's good. It has a casual feel, but not to the level of peanut shells on the floor! They have several good cuts of steak. I had a salad with sirloin on it and it was delicious. Very fresh and the steak was well seasoned and tender. They don't have as wide a selection as I expected on the steak side, but, everything we have tried is pretty good. One notable side dish was the honey fried brussel sprouts. They were delicious. Unique taste, but flavorful combination of sweet, salty and brussely!!! They have an excellent beer and wine selection as well! The bar area is comfortable and friendly. I've been here a couple of times and every time, strike up an interesting conversation with someone. The restaurant seating is mostly tables. I didn't see any booths. They have an upstairs area and a private dining area upstairs that could be used for an event. Parking could be a little dicey on a busy night. But tonight, Saturday night in the summer at 7:00 p.m. I found a spot right away. There's parking both in front and in back of the restaurant. This is a good place to come for a date night. I see some families with older kids. But I wouldn't bring your munchkins here. It's a little loud. But plenty of opportunity for conversation. Good food, good atmosphere, friendly service!
