Came in for dinner and we were given the option to either sit inside or sit on the enclosed deck area. We chose to sit out on the enclosed deck area with the sun it was beautiful and warm. Nice part is on a nice warm day they can roll up the doors and have it be open. The staff was very friendly and attentive from the moment we walked in. We were sat got to choose our own table with the hostess. Then right after being sat we were able to get a drink order in right away and an appetizer order. The staff was super attentive and made sure our drinks never went empty. The food came out fast and was delicious. We enjoyed our little dinner date on the river with the view. I would highly recommend trying this place out. They have plenty of selection for you to choose from.

I had the blackened shrimp scampi with a garden salad, and it was absolutely delicious! The shrimp were perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of spice, and the scampi sauce was rich, garlicky, and full of flavor. The pasta was cooked to perfection, soaking up all that buttery goodness. The garden salad was fresh and crisp, a perfect light complement to the meal. Everything was beautifully plated and tasted amazing. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a flavorful and satisfying dish! They also have the cleanest restrooms I’ve ever seen.

Excellent experience, value and view! Got there during happy hour and got half price apps and draws. They didn’t hold it against us that we were KSU alumni

I love the atmosphere of this place because it's truly for everyone. You can eat inside in a more upscale environment or out on the patio for a relaxed casual experience. As for the food, we got a variety of items to try. The mozzarella sticks only come with three, but they are very large and you truly don't need more than that. However, they are very bland. We also did not care for the bacon jam that came with little breads on that appetizer. The little bread bites were good, the bacon jam was not. The calamari was slightly better, but needed a lemon wedge to add some citrus to it. I think they really depend on the sauces to make up for the flavor on a lot of things. Now, the coconut shrimp paired with the pineapple dip was fantastic. I got a combo with gator and oysters, and they were good, but given the chance I would have gone straight coconut shrimp. The coleslaw was delicious, as were the hushpuppies and sweet potato fries. We opted for cremebrule for dessert. The custard was good, but that's what they should have called it because the sugar on top was not caramelized and there was no crack when you broke into it like there should have been. Our server was very friendly (but not overboard) and attentive. The price is where you would expect it to be for fresh seafood. For 2 appetizers, 4 adult meals, a kids meal, 3 beers, and 5 non-alcoholic beverages it was about $220. And the portions are very generous. All of us left with enough leftovers for us to have a second meal.

Definitely fulfilled the craving for great seafood! The sea bass and risotto were delicious! Unfortunately, the asparagus was stringy and chewy. The service was great! We had a newer waiter who did a great job and was very friendly! The atmosphere and the area is beautiful. I loved walking outside and seeing the river area. Definitely a have to visit in Waco.

We had a very nice dinner at Brazos, and it has that hidden gem vibe. The service and the food were excellent. Suzanne was so good at taking care of us. One thing to note, they do not serve any of the boils at the bar. Highly recommended to anyone visiting to drop off their child at Baylor. The drinks are excellent;)

Chastity made some glowing recommendations of some food on the menu. I decided to order the chicken fried steak, and she warned me that the portion size is generous. Miraculously, I somehow ate the entire steak, which I believe is a testament to the superb quality of the food. I'll recommend this restaurant for the quality of the food and the service to anyone who I know is going to visit the area.

This was a nice restaurant right on the Brazos River. They have a beautiful deck that looks over the river and where you can watch cute little turtles swim by. They have an extremely long list of cocktails, Wine, beer, and more. All of which we tried was delicious. Food wise it was also all scrumptious. It has great true Cajun flavors from Jambalaya to fry baskets. Our servers Alex and Suzanne were sweet, enthusiastic, and attentive. Would definitely come here again.
