Outback Steakhouse

This visit occurred on a Saturday afternoon. There was plenty of parking. We were nicely greeted, and our party of two was immediately seated. I had a rib eye steak with salad and a potato. The steak was excellent! I also had a cocktail that very good as well! Our waiter was very polite and the speed of service was good.

Now the food was good you know pretty casual, I would like to give my thanks to the chef for getting my steak perfectly done, but I have to say my waitress was an absolute star. She was the sweetest, most kindest waitress I’ve ever gotten. I am just so blessed to have gotten a waitress like that because it’s hard to find one of those nowadays. Her name was Cortney, & she did a killer job at taking care of me & my family. I just wanna make sure she gets pointed out today because she was great. She took care of the drinks quickly, she took care of our plates & didn’t make us sit there with plates on our table she made sure she got those, she made sure we had everything we needed constantly! If I could give a five stars to her, I would! That was great service from her I’ll tell you that.

Our server, Chris, at the Round Rock TX location was amazing. He was kind, attentive, got everything right, and made us feel at home! The food was great as well. The store manager also needs a mention as he was great as well!! Best service I have ever had!

Blake was an amazing server and bartender who was very attentive and always made sure my drink was full. Ms Marsha was the host at the time and she was very kind and a pleasure to be created by. I also had the pleasure of meeting the management team one being Austin who started today and he was very kind and even took the time to sit and chat with me it was very welcoming. Kason another manager also took his time to chat with me and share his outback spirit. Lastly, the proprietor Rachel Jackson is an absolute angel who truly loves her job and makes this restaurant run smoothly. Go out to the Outback in Waco and experience the best service ever!

HORRIBLE!!!! If we could give this place zero stars we would. We went there on June 16, 2024. We arrived around 11:35 am. We had a party of 3. The hostess said give us 5 minutes and we will seat you. So we waited 15 minutes and walked back up to the same exact hostess and she asked how many and said there is no wait time and implied that we made a mistake. So she took us to a booth that we didn’t like so we asked for another table and she acted like we asked her for the secret to the nuclear code. So we just sat at the bar. Some other guests were completely DRUNK at noon on a Sunday. These other customers were very loud, rude and vulgar. They were discussing rehab, drugs and sex. And the bar tender continued to serve them alcohol. We ordered our food. They finally brought us our drinks (water). This took an additional 10 minutes. Then we waited. About an hour later, we asked about our order. The bartender went to go check. When he came back he ignored us. At this point we have had enough. We told the bartender that we were leaving and he couldn’t understand why so we explained it to him. While we were there we also saw a very young child ( we are guessing around 10 years old) wearing an Outback shirt actually working at this store. Do NOT waste your time by going here. There are many choices in the Waco, Texas area to actually enjoy eating at and that still appreciates their customers. We will never return here again. WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT VISIT THIS LOCATION!!!!!!

The steak was cooked properly but had too much pepper. Mushrooms were good and would order again. We would go back again just have them go easy on the pepper.

From the moment we walked in with the Hostess, Marsha, with the greetings from all of the staff including the Manager, Chris, With the presentation of the food by the chef and being served by our wonderful waiter, Chris, It was the most wonderful experience. The people were absolutely incredible, the food was absolutely fantastic and we will definitely be coming back!

We had not been to Outback Steakhouse in years. Brought our 93 year old “second mom” here for a Valentine’s lunch. It could not have been any better and we were so pleased. Our waiter was Christopher and he was excellent. It was some of the best customer service we have received lately at a restaurant. The attitude of the servers and management made us feel like they really appreciated our business and truly wanted us to enjoy our meal. The food was great. We hope to make a return visit soon.
