We are here for the first time this past weekend. Carter was our server and was wonderful! He talked us through the menu and made excellent recommendations for every course! The crab stuffed mushrooms were cheesy, full of crab, and perfectly cooked, our only complaint was that they’re weren’t enough of them at only 4 pieces. We each had the double nickel salad which was fresh and dressings were tasty. We also both ordered the steak au poivre, steaks were cooked as requested medium rare, a good size at 14 oz each and the creamed corn was a standout. The bananas foster for dessert because who doesn’t want their dessert to be lit on fire! Overall a great experience! We won’t have many reasons to be in Lubbock again in the near future but Dpubel Nickel will be top of the list for when we are in town!

We had a great first experience here. Food was delicious and our waiter was awesome! They placed us in a room with just our family because we had my Great Grandson with us(toddler). They turned up the lights and we had a great time! I can't say enough great things. Thank you Double Nickle Steakhouse‼️ Highly recommended and we will definitely retun!

Definitely a high end steakhouse! This is my first time eating here, and I was honestly so impressed. I had the filet mignon, and it cut like butter. (My sides were the potatoes and corn, which were also amazing) My steak was made medium rare, just like I had asked for it. Upon receiving your steak, you’re asked to cut into it and verify that the steak is cooked properly to your liking. We even got a tasting of a complementary martini. We celebrated a friend’s birthday, and had a complementary chocolate cake that we shared among 5 of us. It was so delicious. I can’t wait to dine here again!

The filet just melted away in every bite into a flavor that an experience in itself. Every spoonful of the lobster bisque was terrific. The orange cake might be the best cake I’ve ever had! If you like great steaks and orange cake, try it out!

An incredible dining experience! The food was exceptional—perfectly cooked salmon and a tender filet. The bananas foster was a standout, absolutely divine. The atmosphere added to the charm, creating a warm and welcoming environment. Service was top-notch, attentive without being intrusive. Highly recommend!

The food was delicious! The service was amazing and respectful! The atmosphere was dim and intimate! Music was romantic and at good volume. The new York strip was tasty and seasoned to perfection. I wish I had room to try the bananas foster, but we will definitely get it next time! The complimentary martini was delicious! We had a very pleasant experience, I look forward to returning in the near future! Highly recommend 10/10! **Just a heads up, men aren't allowed to wear caps inside and the online price menu is not up to date.

We took our son here for his 15th birthday. If requested they will acknowledge your birthday. Our waiter forgot so we don’t know they do. Make sure to remind them. I ordered the Double Nickel salad. It was tart, but if you like sweet tasting salad it was good. We order crab stuffed mushrooms and they were phenomenal. Lots of yummy sauce to enjoy. We ordered the Bananas Foster. They lit it at the table. It was fun to watch and delicious. The establishment definitely makes you feel like you need to dress up and act “proper”. However, I did see people in shorts and casual wear. The hey only enforce the “no hat” policy. Wear your Sunday best! The prices were through the roof so it’s definitely a special occasion experience for the working class.

One of the best overall dining experiences in Lubbock! It’s a win everytime we go. I have had an excellent time sitting at the bar, the cocktails are amazing. Twice we have had larger tables for special occasions and everything was perfect, not an easy task with our group!
