About The Brand Room - steak house in Fort Worth, Texas
Customer Review Summary
The Brand Room offers an authentic Texas experience with delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere. Located in The Stockyards, it features live music, rustic decor, and excellent service. Signature dishes like the Ribeye and chicken fried steak receive praise, alongside complimentary mini biscuits. However, there are mixed reviews, as some diners found certain dishes, like chicken, to be dry and overly salty. The staff is notably friendly and attentive, making guests feel at home. While some meals didn't meet expectations, the overall vibe and unique offerings, such as buttermilk pie and changing menus, make it a recommended spot, especially for those looking to relax and enjoy a low-key meal.

Very cool place in The Stockyards, but a few blocks away from the main area, which makes it perfectly walkable but not too crowded. Great atmosphere, very rustic feel, great service. Fantastic food, we had the Ribeye, which was perfectly cooked. They have complimentary homemade biscuits (mini biscuits), which are also fantastic. Definitely the best restaurant within walking distance of The Stockyards. Highly recommended!

This thing was huge. I took a picture compared to the size of my hand and I'm 6'1". The breading was fantastic and it was huge so we got to share with two people. And the onion rings with spicy ketchup were also quite good

The wait staff was great. They were very nice and friendly, I felt like a guest in their home. The food was delicious, perfectly prepared. We ordered the Calf fries, a dry aged 16 ounce steak, wine, buttermilk pie, and coffee. The atmosphere was quiet and intimate on the night we were there, perfect since I am hearing impaired.

Despite the great reviews this place has, my family and I did not enjoy it. The chicken my girlfriend and daughter had was dry and did not have really good taste. The chicken fried steak I got, while a good portion, was not that great. Especially at the price it was at. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place.

I visited friends in Texas a few weeks ago from Indiana. We chose to visit The Brand Room. Our server was also tending the bar, but she made sure to check in on us. She was very sweet and genuine. The food was fine. We ate it all, because we were very hungry. Both of us agreed that our meals were a bit salty. The chicken fried steak had a decent flavor, but the beef was tough. The mashed potatoes were the best I've ever had in my entire life. The bathroom was exceptionally clean. Be careful with the hot water because it shocked me with how scalding it was.

A very under-the-radar place to eat in the Stock Yards in Fort Worth. Very low-key. The menu changes every week. The bartenders/servers are very welcoming. They have a great attitude and are very engaging. The table in the front by the bar is the best seat in the house if you can get it. The chicken fried steak is as big as your head!! It's beer and wine only unless you have a liquor locker. I believe you can get a drink if it's your first time. The old fashioned is very tasty!!!
