What a special place! Lonesome Dove is a well known restaurant in Fort Worth, and it didn’t disappoint. I loved the entry and the first dining room, it was western and cozy. We tried a bowl of Texas Red chili and it was so so good. We also got complimentary bread and butter. The tenderloin steak was one of the best steaks I’ve had in a restaurant. The fries were huge and delicious, I also loved the mashed potatoes. Our server was great - friendly and attentive, the manager also introduced himself which is always a nice touch. Everyone was welcoming. We’ll definitely be back to try the rest of the amazing looking menu!

Delicious steaks, I especially enjoyed ribeye. It was very juicy and soft yet full barbecue flavor. Rattlesnake sausage was sort of chewy. I had also glass of Cabernet red, it was good! Ambient is very nice. Reservation is recommended.

If you’ve never been to Lonesome Dove I definitely believe it’s a must try. Not only do they have your typical fine dining options like sea bass and steak, they have a lot of wild game options like rattlesnake sausage, elk, bison, and so much more. I’ve tried a good portion of the menu and everything is super delicious.

"Exceptional Dining Experience at Lonesome Dove!" From the moment we walked in, the service at Lonesome Dove was impeccable. Our waiter was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, making our dining experience truly enjoyable. The food was absolutely outstanding. The chili-rubbed lamb was hands-down the best I've ever had – it was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The lobster hushpuppies were also a highlight, a unique and delicious appetizer. Honestly, if I could give Lonesome Dove more than 5 stars, I would! It's a truly special place with incredible food and service. Highly recommend!

Wow!!! Not much from the front door but wow when you enter. Hostess accommodated us without a reservation. Keith was the perfect server gave us recommendations and told us the history of the restaurant! Food and cocktails outstanding. Can’t wait to visit Fort Worth again.

WOW, what an incredible dinner at Lonesome Dove! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and appreciated. We started at the bar for a drink while waiting for our reservation, and once seated, we were greeted by Malik, who made our experience exceptional. We told him what sounded good, and he helped us choose some amazing starters. The lobster hush puppies were out of this world, as was the crab cake stuffed in a crab shell. The portions were perfect for two, with plenty of crab in the shell and 1.5 hush puppies each. We also got a small taste of rosemary bread and jalapeño cornbread, both delicious. For our main, we split the Wagyu tomahawk with grilled asparagus and mushroom truffle orzo – TO DIE FOR. My boyfriend said the mushroom orzo was the best side he's ever had. We also tried the roasted carrots with lemon and goat cheese, which were fantastic. The tomahawk was perfectly cooked and incredibly tender; the portion could easily feed 2-4 people. We definitely could’ve skipped another side, but they all sounded so good! We also got the chocolate cake with ice cream and brittle for dessert. At this point we were so full but it was definitely delicious! Malik was the highlight of our visit, ensuring everyone around us had a great time. He even went out of his way to help the couple next to us capture a video of their smoked old-fashioned by re-lighting the smoke at the bar. I've dined at some fantastic places, but Lonesome Dove is now one of my top picks. I can’t wait to return!

Came here for our anniversary dinner on A Saturday evening. Our reservation was at 5:30 and by the time we got there, trying to find parking was a nightmare. We opted for the $15 valet in front. We were seated promptly and service was excellent and quick. Our server Adam was very knowledgeable and gracious. Started the night out with the port barrel aged old fashioned. I voiced my concern if it was going to be overly sweet or not and Adam assured me they are light on the simple syrup, otherwise they would remake it. The old fashion came out, I opted for extra smoke, and it was subtly sweet and smooth. For the first course, we ordered the elk sliders and crab cakes. The sliders were so tender and juicy. You could easily order several servings of these to make up your entire meal. We've had the crab cakes at the Austin location before so we knew we would love them. These did not disappoint and are served in their shell. Make sure to dig out all the deliciousness within the shell. For our second course, we split their version of a cesar salad. This was nice, fresh, and light. The dressing wasn't overpowering and the salad was a nice between snack from our appetizers to our mains. We also had a basket of jalapeno corn bread and rosemary bread as well. These were delicious and soft. Corn bread wasn't dry and the rosemary bread had a nice subtle chew to it. For my main, I opted for the bison ribeye. My wife ordered the chili lamb chops. The ribeye was a perfect medium rare with a great crust on it. It paired perfectly with the side of truffle oil mushrooms we also ordered. The gnocchi were fried and offered a nice contrast in texture. The lamb was very juicy and delicious. The raspberry sauce added a complimenting sweetness to the lamb. All in all, very good mains. For dessert, we had to go with ancho chili chocolate cake. This is about the only con in that the brittle on top was not very brittle at all. The cake was super delicious, super moist, with a hint of ancho chili coming in at the end. I think the brittle may had absorbed some moisture or was too thick as I couldn't even bite it. This was a great anniversary dinner and one of our favorite places to come for special occasions. If you've made it this far, here's a tip. Go to costco and buy some gift cards to Tim Love restaurants. Basically, if you stay within budget, you get 20% off your meal.

We have a burger and fries. Delicious meat. Excellent service, top notch. Very nice ambience and nicely located off main street, but only a few steps. The fries were a bit oily and over-cooked outside but undercooked inside.
