Erik at the bar was great throughout our whole visit! We enjoyed the smoked sausage appetizer - the Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce was good enough to drink! The smoked sirloin was exactly what I wanted, the pepper jack relleno was the unexpected side I just had to order and it was great, the baked sweet potato with the cinnamon butter was phenomenal and oh my the jalapeño glazed pork chops! 😱 Erik made us several mouthwatering cocktail as well which were nothing short of perfection!

This is one of my fave places to eat... their grilled chicken is always so juicy and yummy! I tried their special bloody mary and it was the bomb (candied bacon, pickles, olives). I originally wanted a chocolate martini, but was told they didn't have the true ingredients, but shared what they could make it with that would be close, I passed. The manager still made me a small chocolate martini with what he had to get my thoughts... that was so sweet of him and it was good! Also, their broccoli jalapeño cheddar soup & spicy ranch are awesome!

Jamie was good and attentive . They were playing Christmas music on Feb26?? The manager on duty, Rick or Richard. Short black hair and glasses, needs more training and not offend customers. To many other places out there competing for the same dollar.

Last Saturday we went to dinner for my birthday. I ordered what I always do, medium-rare smoked sirloin. I was hopeful that this visit would be better than the last two visits, but it was not. The last 3 times we have eaten here, they have brought out the meat cooked well or medium well, items were left off, and the food was not up to its usual standards. I’m truly sad because we have come here since it opened and have enjoyed the food and atmosphere. I’m not sure we will return.

I thought the service and atmosphere was amazing. As soon as we walked Thur the door we were greeted with a smile and shown to our table the place was packed. The server Tanya L. was fantastic. She quickly took our beverage orders and started us off with a appetizer. Skillet cornbread was to die for. I asked her what she recommended to eat and she said the salmon and shrimp. What a good choice so I chose the Atlantic salmon,pepper jack from and steamed broccoli. It was delicious. I want to thank y'all for keeping hobbrua a good place to eat for many years. Keep up the good work!

Service here was great. I want to say our waiter was Eric, but he did take the time during a busy day to make sure we always had what we needed. This is your everyday steakhouse but they have some bigger-sized portions. We enjoyed our chicken, salads, and prime rib, and our fave was the fried mushrooms 🍄 and pickles. You will not go wrong with either of those appetizers.
