Customer Review Summary

Del Frisco's Grille has received mixed reviews from diners. Many praised the upscale atmosphere and kind staff, especially noting the attentive service during brunch and special occasions. However, some guests reported significant issues with slow service, lack of communication from servers, and disappointing food quality. While certain dishes, like the truffle mac and cheese and specialty burgers, received high marks, others, including the steaks and bolognese, were critiqued for their flavor and preparation. Overall, the restaurant is seen as overpriced, with some diners expressing dissatisfaction with value for money compared to local competition. Despite the inconsistencies, a few patrons felt the experience was strong enough to encourage future visits, contingent on maintaining quality across locations.

Went out on a date here and enjoyed it for Valentine's Day. It's a fancy smancy type of place making reservations and what not. But the staff was so kind and the kitchen ran beautifully. Chef Ramsay would be proud. Running the kitchen like a beautiful brigade. The food fabulous.

The food was so-so. The atmosphere was great. Our waitress was friendly enough, but didn’t share the dinner specials, didn’t refill our drinks, and kind of disappeared for a while. We waited about 30 minutes after we had finished eating to get our check.

Sub par or worse…We were refused as a walk in…only to walk away and get a table on Open Table and nearly immediately be seated (this is 2nd time this has happened at this location specifically). Once we were seated, our service was miserably slow. Asked for GM. He never came over. My drink was extremely acidic. Bolognese completely lacked flavor and depth. Didn’t eat my food. Instead of the waiter asking “was the food ok?” He said, “Good thing I never brought you that salad you asked for!” Waited over 20 minutes for the bill. All in all a pretty lousy experience. The table behind us complained to the GM and eventually just walked out…Our server was kind, but that’s about the only kind thing I can say…I host dinner with clients all over the DFW metro plex and have rented out the room at this location…I can’t say I would ever again…

Went for Sunday brunch, the food was delicious and our server was attentive. Party got everything from salmon to steak to omelets and eggs benedict and everyone enjoyed their dish.

Overrated, overpriced, unsatisfactory menu, but with good and average chef skills. Helpful waitress that makes you decide over the poor overpriced menu choices. Not impressed. Price vs Experience is lacking. You better take notes of price tags because the competition out there is way better.

I’m currently on a work tour traveling around the entire USA, and every city we go to a couple friends and I choose a spot to grab a burger… We’re looking for quality, value, flavor. It happened to be my turn this week in Fort Worth and I chose Del Frisco‘s, which was close to our hotel. Fortunately, I chose correctly! The burger was in the top three of probably the 50 or so burgers I’ve had so far in the past year… We all chose the filet mignon burger… It had a great steak spice in the flavor. Perfectly done and complemented well with sweet potato fries. The meal was excellent value, and checked all my boxes! The only problem was that I didn’t want to leave without having another delicious item from the menu… So I chose the tuna tacos… Again great value. Fresh and incredible flavor! Hands-down, one of the best restaurants I’ve been to on tour and will look forward to trying the other locations now that I know what they’re capable of… The only question will be consistency and they can pull it off at another location.

Seriously delicious here as you would expect. Unexpected is the terrific service. We sat upstairs and the bar staff was outrageous. They made a special day for us (Mother’s day). The salmon was ok. The truffle Mac and cheese was insane! Pasta ala vodka was also very delicious. A little pricey, but I recognize the additional cost due to the brand name. I’m sorry, the experience does not disappoint. We spent $300 and we were a part of 4. We had drinks, entrees, coffee, booze, and the best coconut créeme vale I have ever had!

We had a reservation for 11 people. We were seated right away and then left alone for a long time. Like 10 minutes. Then, drink orders were taken and left alone again for another 10 minutes. Then drinks and bread came. Then 10 more minutes alone then orders taken. The steak in the steak salad was very tough and salty. Really, I only liked the sides. The truffle Mac and cheese was delicious. The creamed spinach was good. The mashed potatoes were good. The rib eye was salty and tough. The skirt steak was good. The desserts were good enough. The tacos were pretty pain and lacked flavor. I was disappointed overall.
