Many reviewers criticize the steaks for lack of flavor, with issues like incorrect cooking temperatures and poor wing quality. Service experiences vary; some found it lacking and slow, while others praised attentive and friendly staff. I think this place is so highly rated because it's a piece of history and culture, but if you're just looking for delicious food, save your money and go somewhere else. The steak had almost no flavor, the mac and cheese tasted like water and had NO cheese pull. Both steaks were ordered medium rare, one was very rare. Wings were terrible quality, chewy and small. Chili and baked potato were definitely the highlight of the meal. Service was lacking, it took forever for the server to ask if we needed a to go box and then to bring the check after. As a native born and raised Texan, completely unimpressed. For the price of their stakes, go to The Capital Grille instead. For good wings and mac and cheese, try The Rim or Pour Decisions. Hell, go to Buffalo wild wings for better wings.

As a vegetarian, I can't give an objective review of the entire menu here. I can say that the baked potato is really good. The salt rub on the skin elevates it. The service was great and it was good value for money. I would go back again if I'm at the stockyards. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our dinner on Valentine's Day date night. It was very busy, and every table was full, but the service and food were excellent. To start, they bring out a basket of biscuits and cornbread. The cornbread was DELICIOUS!! I ordered the filet mignon, and my husband ordered a ribeye. Both steaks were seasoned perfectly and grilled to perfection. They had a great kid's menu for our three-year-old. She really enjoyed her mini corn dogs and fries. The restaurant appears much smaller since the new ownership and renovations began, but it was still a great experience, as well as dinner in the Stockyards. Highly recommend!

When you are in Fort Worth Texas, there are a lot of places you can dine if you want to visit a steakhouse. I ask a lot of people before we came to Fort Worth to see what they would recommend. Turns out that a month ago, I chance to meet a former Fort Worth resident who now lives in Venice, Florida, when I was visiting there. The first thing I asked him was, which steakhouse should I choose on our visit to Fort Worth. He enthusiastically recommended The Cattlemen’s Club. He said the quality is consistent and he thought it was very good and it has a long and storied history In the stockyard area of Fort Worth. The restaurant is finishing up a major renovation project, but it did not impact our enjoyment of our evening there. There were five of us dining. I really enjoyed the margarita. The wine list was definitely adequate For our taste and budget. My husband and I shared the shrimp cocktail, and we also had the fantastic tower of onion rings. We did share those with the other three people. He and I shared the smaller ribeye, and it was absolutely perfectly prepared, well marbled and delicious. A baked potato and salad came with the meal. So did some bread, but we had been gnashing on the hors d’oeuvres and never really touched the bread. The others at the table had filet mignon’s, and they also enjoyed their meals as well. We were too full to order dessert. Jazmin Was our very wonderful server. She was always there with what we needed when we needed it. She made recommendations. She was very helpful. We enjoyed watching the gentleman grill the steaks. Everyone there was so nice and we just had the most wonderful time. So if you want my recommendation for where you should dine for steak in Fort Worth, you definitely need to check out The Cattlemen’s club. You will not be disappointed! Make reservations!

This place was terrible! Quite possibly the worst steak I’ve had. I really think they gave me someone’s leftovers. First off it was cold. Some of my steak was overcooked while other parts were raw. Customer service was good.

This place was awesome. The old Western scenery, the steaks cooked on an open-flame grill, and the food were phenomenal. The service was great; I couldn't ask for anything else.

One of the best rib eye steak I've ever had. The baked potato was super delicious nice variety of warm bread

Great experience. Filets were well seasoned, extremely tender. Not one bite of steak was left behind. Delicious. Service was good. I will say the lobster tails — while large and very meaty — were just a *touch* overcooked for our taste. Sides were great. We left satisfied and would come again. Not inexpensive, but not unreasonable, either. Plenty of options across the price spectrum.
