This was a great date night dinner!! Harley was our waitress an she was so sweet. Made sure we didnt need anything, an had good suggestions on food!! We had the whole outside to ourselves for anniversary an it was the perfect weather to just sit outside and enjoy eachother and great food!

Came from Louisiana to visit Memphis and wanted something local and unique and we hit the jackpot with this little gem! Thanks to local references in a Memphis restaurant review group we had the most delicious meal tonight! They give you very generous portions and the complementary bread is fresh and addictive! Karlie was a wonderful server. Very attentive and sweet! If we come back up this way we will definitely be back!

I took my wife here for our anniversary based on a recommendation from her Doctor and I am not disappointed that we chose to come. We made reservations in advance and when we arrived were seated immediately. I would say it was be best for you to make reservations if you hate waiting for a table. The building has a great atmosphere to it that feels down home and friendly. The staff were amazing and friendly for our entire meal especially our server ,Violet, who was always sure to check and make sure our drinks were full and that we had everything we needed for our meal. My wife and I both ordered the bacon wrapped steak with a Caesar salad and loaded baked potato. We also ordered a side of fried mozzarella as our appetizer. The food was amazing and the portions were perfect. In fact I would say we did not even need the appetizer between the entree itself and the "croutons" they gave us. For those that are used to the small hard croutons at other restaurants, these are not those. These croutons are more likened to garlic bread than standard small croutons. All of that to say that they were delicious and we found ourselves having to stop chowing down on them to save room for our main course. I would highly recommend coming out and giving them a try.

Excellent place! The staff was very friendly and inviting, our server Harley was very attentive and sweet. Their table bread (croutons) is the best ever! Steaks cooked perfectly and seasoned very well, you can spare the steak sauce here, it won’t be needed! Make a reservation and get in to try it! You won’t be disappointed!

The steak was pretty juicy. The potato was well cooked and the server was very helpful since it was my first time. Their prices are not that cheap so be prepared to spend. I ordered take out which they stopped at 9 pm. The garlic bread was ok. Was not my favorite. I got the steak strips for my son and it was a pretty good portion.

My family and I love eating here! In my opinion they make the best steaks, and prove you don't need to be a "fancy" steakhouse to make great steak. Also, bonus points for being local, great service, and having the most welcoming and cozy atmosphere! Their crouton bread is also really good.

My family and I came here for years prior to the new owners and the new place opening up. We loved it then but we love it now even more!! Every single time we come is a 10/10 experience. From the greeting when you first walk in, to the time you pay and leave it is just a great time. I turned 33 today and chose to eat here for my birthday dinner with my family for every reason they stand for. It’s a family environment with good people who work there and run the business. My Dads wallet fell out of his pocket while at the table and Chandler called to let me know they had found it. You don’t find that kind of honest work too often anymore and his parents and the owners should be so proud to have such a good man representing their business. Reasons like this is a prime example of why we will frequent Side Porch for years to come. Thank you all so much, especially Liam, for such a nice birthday dinner with my family. 💛
