This was the best meal of my life, bar none. We started with a side of colossal onion rings as our appetizer (two were eaten before picture was taken oops!) and they were pretty good! Absolutely enormous! We also got she crab soup with garlic Parmesan bread. This is some of the best soup I’ve ever had. It is very rich and creamy. There was a decent amount of crab in there but more would have been welcomed. I do wish we would have ordered the plain bread with the soup. The Parmesan was definitely the real deal and therefore pretty strong, which is not a negative thing in my opinion; it just didn’t go well with the soup (my husband disagrees, so take that for what it’s worth!) Again, i realize it looks silly for me to complain about high quality cheese, but I assure you the bread (and cheese) is great—just separately from the soup! We couldn’t decide on sides, so we kind of went overboard. We ordered the asparagus, jalapeno Mac and cheese, and au gratin potatoes. Each of these are delicious and I would be doing you a disservice by recommending one over the other.. because even after trying them, I couldn’t tell you which one we would pick. They all were unforgettably perfect and stunning. Outright criminally delicious. I got the petite fillet mignon and I am a very picky steak eater (to the point where I normally do not order steak because I hardly ever like it most places) and when I say I have never put something so perfect in my mouth, I do not exaggerate. My husband has similar praises for the ribeye. I had the garlic butter and didn’t even touch it. It didn’t need it. My husband reports the makers mark peppercorn sauce to be “a little to peppery” but relented that he should have expected that (and I can report that he ate every bite of ribeye with the sauce anyways so clearly he loved it). Even if all of the food came out cold and sad and terrible, I would have enjoyed my meal because of the service alone. Greg was our server and was extremely hospitable and delightful. The service here is impeccable! Can’t wait to return.

I am here for my birthday 10/16/24. Folks Folly has been on my to go list and I am not disappointed. Starting with the She Cran soup, wedge salad and French toast to the Lamb Chops and ending with the complimentary birthday cupcake all was great! My birthday dinner was beyond pleasurable. I will most definitely be returning. The atmosphere is comfortable, cozy with the perfect touch of excellence. This is my number two top favorite restaurants. Cliff, or waiter was courteous, attentive and took great care of us. Jose was the same.

I went to this place to celebrate my friend’s birthday. She chose this restaurant for all of us to come and celebrate 🎉 with her. Well, being it was many of us first time ( like me) it was definitely an experience. The only thing that had some taste to it was the blueberry cocktail 🍹 drink and bread. I ordered the rotisserie chicken with potatoes etc and the waitress brought one big side dish of potatoes for me and the person next to me….which I knew him but he wanted his own and I wanted my own…the food had absolutely noooo taste to it. I had to doctor up the food at home in order to eat it. The waitress was nice to me but others complained about her attitude. It was told after the fact that certain dishes are much better than what I ordered. The place was expensive so have money! Would I go back? Probably not unless I try the better dish that was recommended.

I was so pleased with this restaurant. Firstly the staff are kind and hard working. Everyone seems as if they like their jobs and are happy to serve. The food was well seasoned and had a large variety. The atmosphere was quiet and romantic. The history feels rich. We will return!

Had a nice dinner experience. Place is larger inside than it looks from the outside, but it’s not exactly roomy. Hallways and dining areas can be a bit tight and it’s easy to take a wrong turn. Lamb chops came out perfect. They were a nice medium rare and were accompanied by some mint jelly. Not the best I’ve had, but still very good. Opted not to get any sides since I indulged in appetizers, but I did try my partner’s garlic potato casserole and it was pretty good. Dessert was just average.

Excellent food, service, and atmosphere! Server was great and food was delicious. I had the calamari which was fresh surprisingly for being land locked. Porterhouse was juicy and delicious! Seasoned and cooked perfectly! Asparagus was not overcooked and baked potatoes were normal. The drinks (alcoholic beverages were worth it)! I recommend this statehouse! Definitely will be returning!

While the steak is thick, it's perfectly cooked to medium-rare. Though the salt seasoning leans a bit strong, it's still quite enjoyable. The meat is exceptionally tender, making it effortless to cut with a knife, and the flavor is undeniably outstanding. The restaurant exudes an elegant atmosphere, casting a warm and cozy ambiance with its lighting. Moreover, the service is truly excellent.

If I could give zero stars, I would. It started with drinks: a flat soda which I would not have ordered but was discouraged by the server to not order tea. My partner ordered the duck which was raw in the middle and tasted like chicken. My filet was also undercooked in the center. Our $13 sides were lukewarm at best. Our server barely spoke to or acknowledged me. Rather she spent her time kissing up to my partner attempting to get a larger tip. We expected a fine dining experience and was charged for one, but that was not what we experienced at all. We will not be back.
