I had a truly exceptional dining experience here. The food was cooked flawlessly, and the sea bass was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. When I dine out, I expect a certain level of quality for the price, and this restaurant exceeded my expectations. I was thoroughly impressed and will absolutely be back.

Good food, BUT comes with a Price $$ We had an exceptional dining experience! Despite walking in at 9 pm, close to their closing time, the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly sweet, helpful, and attentive. They took the time to understand our preferences and made excellent recommendations. The food was great - the creamed spinach with bread was a flavorful delight, and the roasted chicken with Boursin stuffing was cooked to perfection. One thing to note is that we felt it was slightly overpriced, making it a bit expensive for a casual dinner. However, the quality of food and service made it worth the splurge.

We’ve been to a half dozen of the nice steakhouses in Memphis. The most recent one (a well known high-end national chain) was a real disappointment, so we decided to try Porch and Parlor. To be frank, the rack of bacon pictured in many reviews is what sealed the deal to give Porch and Parlor a try! We were totally impressed from the moment we entered the restaurant. The decor is warm and welcoming. But more importantly, the staff is absolutely phenomenal. Our waitress, Elisa, was knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining. We started with cocktails and their appetizer special; deviled eggs with a thin slice of Wagyu A5 prepared at table. We shared a bowl of French onion soup. The Parmesan crisp tuile was a special surprise. The soup was very good; not overly salted like it is in many places. The ribeye was perfectly cooked and well marbled. We opted for the bone marrow sauce prepared at the table; it was fantastic and a perfect compliment for the ribeye. We were pleasant surprised with the scallops and braised oxtail. I’ve never seen that in a restaurant and will certainly recommend it to anyone wanting to something out of the ordinary.

The food and atmosphere was really good. I had the Salmon, which was very light and tender. My friend had the scallops with braised ox tail, which was also good. The Memphian, which is on their drink menu was refreshing and not too sweet. This is a winner and will not be my last visit.

Porch and Parlor truly exceeded our expectations! The steak was nothing short of exceptional—perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor, it’s definitely a must-try. For cocktails, my husband was particularly impressed with the Vanilla Chia Old Fashioned; it was a delightful twist on a classic. Our waitress, Page, made our evening even more special with her exceptional service. She took the time to explain the menu and ensure everything was perfect. To top it off, she surprised us with a birthday cake and a heartfelt card, which made the night unforgettable. Page's thoughtful and considerate approach made our dining experience at Porch and Parlor absolutely stellar. Highly recommended!

This review is a couple weeks delayed but I felt like I absolutely had to leave one. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Memphis. The atmosphere, the service - from the hostess to the bartender to our server and manager of restaurant was top tier. Food was amazing. We had a beautiful meal here and would come back in a heartbeat. Also shoutout Georgia our server, she was excellent and we found out after she was only a month in working there. 10/10 all around don’t skip on this place if you’re in Memphis.

Had dinner with the family and I was impressed with the attention to detail. From valet parking, the hostess and our server all contributed to a great experience. The food was outstanding. My bone in ribeye was cooked to perfection. It even came with an array of knives for me to select. The staff made my evening memorable.

Mateo was our server and he was excellent! Loved his attitude. I could tell he absolutely loved his job. Now to the food. Amazing! I am not a steak eater. I dont like steak at all but the wagyu filet was to die for and I only had a small bite to try. When I go back, I will definitely be ordering a steak. The mac and cheese was superb! I loved the sweet potatoes!
