Shogun Japanese Steakhouse

Got there at few mins till 6. Host asked if we had a reservation, negative, proceeded to sit us, whole restaurant was empty. Food was finally finished at 8:42 pm not seasoned, over cooked chef blamed the grill due to they turned it on to high. Manager said no discounts offered. The group sat at our table was celebrating at little kids 5 birthday. Besides the fire in the beginning no other parts to a show. Just cooked the food one item at a time. No birthday cake or anything for the little guy. Pricing was outrageous. 4 oz fillet was 32$!

We had a party about 45. Michael, one of our cooks, was excellent. The first server we had was great as well. Food was good. Now the manager/owner was very rude. The room we were in had trash in the corner, and we had to tell someone twice to get it up. Door was sticking, condiments on the tables was sticking. You can tell they don’t really deep clean the place.

Cook was decent. Service was mediocre at best had a small party had to track someone down 2 times to get drinks refilled. It's was like take your order then your on your own. It was 9 they didn't close till 11 and were not busy at all so there's no real justification for it. O well

We celebrated a birthday dinner at Shogun's. We came during one of the slower times and the food and service were great. We always love the ginger dressing salad

Service was horrible! Food was ok!! Many of the menu items were unavailable!! The reviews are accurate, the server was rude AF!! BUT the manager did attempt to compensate us for the terrible experience with a 10% discount! I wanted to give them a second chance but the negative experience and interaction with the server outweighed the mediocre meal! My family and I won't be back!!

Not a great experience overall. Made a reservation and still waited over an hour for a cook to get to our grill/table. The hostess was very pleasant and did her best to accommodate us and my wife’s food allergy. She was the only positive part of the experience besides the chef who finally made it to our table. Unfortunately by then we were ready to leave and had to take our food to go because of the long wait. The table across from us cleared out before getting their food as well. With the prices being charged for the food the service should be quicker and more efficient. It seems that they are short staffed and overworked and will continue to lose customers if nothing changes.

Grandson wanted hibachi for his birthday. We loved the experience, family friendly restaurant. Children even got to feed the fish, just ask. Went early for the 5pm discount. Had to wait for check because it got busy, because employees were busy giving everyone the same great experience.

My family and I kept this place open during Covid and before. Last 2 times we were there the checks got messed up and I end up paying for all parties on 1 occasion and the other occasion, they tried to fix it to no avail. Every order was messed up and never got the sushi that took over 1.5 hours to make. The orders were not even close rice was out before we got the salad and I had to remind the server we still needed soup as well as drinks. After supporting this place for 5 years I will not be going back. Sorry but the atmosphere has gone down hill and for as expensive as it is you'd think they could get it correct. Ol well find somewhere new.
