About Ignite Steakhouse - steak house in Memphis, Tennessee
Customer Review Summary
Ignite Steakhouse has received mixed reviews from diners. Several customers noted long wait times for seating and food, with some meals arriving cold. Appetizer portions were often criticized as being too small, while certain dishes lacked proper seasoning. However, many praised the quality of the steaks and specific dishes like the tomahawk steak, lobster bisque, and crème brûlée. Service varied; some reviewers experienced excellent, attentive service, while others encountered rude or overwhelmed staff. Overall impressions highlighted the restaurant’s ambiance and potential, but concerns about service consistency and food quality remained prevalent. There is encouragement for improvement, especially in customer service and kitchen efficiency, to elevate the dining experience further.

Reservations was @5 didn't get seated till 5:20. Was extremely cold inside. Got our food was presented really well but appetizer portions were very small VERY! The beef appetizer was really tough. Everything else we ordered was delicious but brought out on the cold side. Prices are too expensive and could be more reasonable. But overall if they would address these issues it would be a nice restaurant.

My husband and I went here for Thanksgiving weekend I would have gave them five stars if my fried green tomatoes were good, they did take them off the bill with no hesitation which was really great and the managing gentleman came over to make sure everything was okay the service was impeccable. I highly recommend this place if you want a fantastic meal with great service.....

This is the best steak I have eaten in a while, I really wasn’t expecting this quality of food on a casino’s bar, but they really know how to cook a steak, and the service was amazing too! The big potato it was just a regular potato ! Once again the steaks are just cooked to perfection!!

If ever I am back in Memphis at the Southland Casino, I will dine at Ignite Steakhouse. The ambiance was nice. The service was wonderful. The food was absolutely delicious. I enjoyed a 5 course meal starting with the lobster bisque, shrimp cocktail, Caesar salad, and a perfectly prepared seabass as my main entree. Creme brulee was my grand finale. The server wished me good luck after dinner. However, there was no gambling, just dinner and a nice evening at the bar listening to the live band.

I was very excited to bring some people from out of town to this spot and I been anticipating being that we heard about a great review. We arrived and was surprised that we had the opportunity to valet, which was nice. The casino overall was very nice and the upgrades you can tell that they took time to make it a great look for the West Memphis area. The look of the new Ignite Steakhouse restaurant was very nice and warming. My party and I can agree that the time may was taking to make sure that the atmosphere was nice and not the service and food. I wanted to have so many hopes for the restaurant and was visiting to see how it will be to be a preferred restaurant in the future to bring more guest, but I wasn’t happy with the experience we had over the weekend. We order cocktails and they were very tart. Our waiter wasn’t pleasant and pretty much blame and put everything on the chief and manager when a question or information was asked. When ordering your entrees, we were informed that we can’t change any sides that’s paired with the entrees which we didn’t understand especially if a person have allergies, have other reasons why they can’t eat certain items or just didn’t like them. You couldn’t substitute the items and any additional side was like $7-$8 to add. Once she was able to get one person approved at the table, we waited so long for our food to get it and it be COLD! The crazy thing is that the food was being prepared and you can see them preparing the food. After a time, I did notice that baked potatoes were just sitting in a line already plated with no warmers or anything in the open in the kitchen. Our baked potatoes were so overly cooked (black/burnt look), hard, and cold. The sides were all awful especially the puree spinach. If you ordered a steak, you either received it under or over cooked from what you originally ordered, and nothing was season you basically had to use salt and pepper to eat your food. We didn’t complain because our server seemed to be very agitated with anything that we asked the entire time. As I personally kept asking for a refill that I had to ask multiple times and never received it until after my meal. What I did notice that may would help if they wrote things down. To top off our not so good experience our waitress swiped two couples’ card for the wrong ticket. Once they brought it to her attention, she stated she may have put the card in the wrong place but swiped them for the correct ticket. Both couples looked up the information on their accounts and brought it to her attention again and her response was, “I can SEE if my manager can fix it.” I didn’t understand why she didn’t take charge to be apologetic and let us know that she made a mistake. She never came back with a manager nor took the tickets to “SEE” if she can get it fixed. The couples end up having to pay the difference from the ticket between each other because we were unsure on how and when the matter will be taking care of. Once she finally came back and we told her we worked things out she then tried to say it was hard splitting the ticket in the system (the tickets were already split before them giving their card to her) and trying to explain instead of a simple apology. I don’t know if we will make another attempt to eat here. I cannot express how disappointed I am in my visit here over the weekend and the service and the food was awful. I would love to have high hopes for this restaurant in the future being that we are in that area often.

Ignite is a top tier steakhouse that offers a variety of food for everyone. The bar mixologist ( Antorian, Tonya, and Kenneth- the dream team), hostess, and wait staff were very professional, polite, and pleasant. The food is fabulous!

I'm big on good customer service, they won. Our server Crystal was good energy and positive attitudes, food was so flavorful, the atmosphere was elegant plus the noise level was light. Hubby and I will definitely visit again, first time was cozy and memorable. Drinks on point.

Appetisers were: charcuterie board, oysters. And Main: tomahawk steak, sides: sweet potato and asparagus. Dessert and drinks: crème brûlée and gin n tonic. They also give you bread and butter while you wait for your starters. Wouldn’t order the charcuterie board, and don’t recommend it. Had to ask for honey to accompany the blue cheese. Also wouldn’t order the sweet potato side again. Presentation was nice, but we had to ask for it to heated all the way through, which suggested they have the sweet potato dish pre-made, chilled and reheated (understandable), and then the marshmallow is placed on top and either broiled quickly or blow torched to get all toasted. Conceptually great- however the sweet potato dish lacked flavour and the sweet potato component was slightly warm on outer sides of the dish and cold in the centre. Having said this, the dish was returned and a new (hot all the way through) sweet potato dish was promptly swerved. Oysters were amazing! asparagus was lovely. Crème Brûlée was yummy. And the tomahawk was delicious and cooked to perfection! Would go back there again just for the tomahawk!!! Would go back again, but would try other sides and starters. Staff and waiters were also lovely. A couple of stand outs were our exceptional servers Vincent and Gracie who were happy, friendly, helpful and professional.
