Zydeco Kitchen & Cocktails

Came in on a Wednesday evening when it wasn't busy as we drove through town and enjoyed a delectable dinner! It was a limited menu due to who they had on staff that night but we were able to order the BBQ Shrimp (highly recommended) and the braised chicken. Both dishes were everything expected and then some! The BBQ shrimp really is that good - the sauce is fairly creamy and rich so know that going in but WOW was it worth every last delicious bite. They recommended the bread to enjoy every bite of the sauce and I can see why! The chicken was succulent, moist and had the most crispy and flavourful skin - really one of the top 5 chicken dishes either of us ever enjoyed...and while my partner wasn't the biggest fan of the rice I thought it was excellent. Had some nice heat, great texture and had the most comforting flavor that warmed from the inside. The reviews don't lie - Zydeco is not to be missed if you're in the Bend area!

Always the best place in town! Didint have reservations on Saturday and Amber was able to work her magic to get our big group in! All of the food + drinks came out perfect! Have to get the BBQ shrimp and you can’t go wrong with any of the other dishes! Thank you Zydeco for always being to best spot in town!

So good. The best place we have eaten so far during our visit. My husband got the jambalaya, their signature dish. I got a special which was a steak. Both were out of this world. We also got the beet salad which was a winner. And the trout as a starter which was too big for two but we enjoyed it so much. Highly recommend!

Rick was our server and he was amazing! He gave great recommendations and served us the best martinis I’ve ever had. He was also very knowledgeable about the gluten free options. I had the bouillabaisse and it was incredible. Highly recommend!

This was a beautiful experience, loved this restaurant. We were visiting from out of town and a local told us this was the best spot in town, they weren't wrong. We tried as many options on the menu as possible, our favorite was the pork chop!!! The food was obviously all prepared with love though, plating is beautiful, ingredients are fresh and the flavors were so thoughtful. The atmosphere is relaxed but elegant. And the service was impeccable! The staff walked me through the wine list and helped us pick a delicious red to accompany our meal. I highly recommend.

I found this restaurant on the r/Bend subreddit discussing the best downtown restaurants. It was frequently mentioned, and within walking distance of our hotel so we gave it a shot. We didn't have reservations, so we had to wait for a few minutes for seats to open up at the bar. Everything about the experience here was fantastic, and this was one of the best meals I've had in years. Their pork chop absolutely took first place in my own private "Worlds Best Pork Chop" contest, and the jambalaya that my wife ordered was excellent also.

Best meal we have had in Bend! Would drive all the way back just for the BBQ shrimp. The space has a great vibe, sort of intimate with a great list of cocktails. Everything was excellent, we made reservations ahead of time and they were super accommodating to our large group.
