Back in say around 1978 I used to work here cleaning the bakery after school when attended Bend high school. It always great to dine here when we are in town. The food and service was excellent. The Pine Tavern has so much history.

I walked from my hotel to have lunch at this very popular restaurant and had a great experience. It was not busy on a Wednesday afternoon, and I was seated in the dining room with the trees in the middle of the room. I reviewed the menu and ordered the chicken sandwich with bacon and added avocado for an extra charge. The menu has appetizers, soup, salad, entrees including pulled pork sandwiches and three cheese mac. I received my order in about fifteen minutes with no problems. The chicken had good taste with the bacon and avocado and was not overcooked. The fries were crispy and lightly salted. I ordered a peach crumble with ice cream for dessert and it really tasty. The restaurant is busy at dinner, and you need to have a reservation. Located on Mirror Pond in downtown Bend on NW Brooks Street with outdoor seating. A great place to eat in a historic building with friendly service, a menu with a number of food options, and dining outside by the pond.
Live Life
From A-Z this place knocked it out of the park! It’s a neat building and right on the river so you can have a nice view in the rear room or chill out in the front dining room or bar! We sat in the back and Tiffany was extremely attentive and kind! She went out of her way to take care of us and was very thoughtful in ways most people especially service staff aren’t! The food was absolutely incredible and I will crave it! The steelhead fish dish was wonderful, Caesar salad was tasty and the other foods we had were also excellent! Clean place and great service too! Loved every minute of it here! We will be back for sure!

The best chicken marsala I have ever had, flavor was incredible. The burger was perfectly cooked also. Relaxed environment with great views. Off street parking. Perfect lunch or dinner spot after enjoying downtown Bend.

Best Mac and Cheese with Pulled Pork! Tried the stroganoff but it couldn’t compare to the Mac and cheese. Great atmosphere. Love the pine tree growing through the roof! Amazing wait staff.

We dined at Pine Tavern tonight. I got the linguine with grilled chicken and my husband got the burger . They also started us with these fried rolls and honey butter which were waaay too good. 🤤 The chicken was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The linguine tasted light and refreshing for a pasta dish. I had a bite , or three 😬, of my husbands burger and it had really good layers of flavor . Burger was juicy. The fries were top notch. Idk how they get them so crispy. You could tell they change the oil in their fryers out frequently. As for the atmosphere and service, the service was fast. They got us seated within 15 minutes despite it being pretty busy. We ordered and got our food pretty quickly. Our waitress was really sweet and if you haven’t been there before, it’s a historical icon of Bend. It’s like stepping into a time capsule. I really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend checking it out.

This place was amazing. Our server DJ was exceptional and made our night. The food is fantastic, and he only added to the experience. Much appreciated for all the work they did to insure we had a positive experience. Would come back everytime we are in town and ask for DJ!

Outstanding food & service. Our server Danny was wonderful. You have to make reservations. It is a very busy restaurant. We were seated in the room with the trees, which was a real treat!
