Consistent complaints include lackluster food quality, with steak and soups often described as bland and disappointing. Some diners noted a decline in ambiance and value, citing tacky decor and overpriced drinks. Positive remarks were made about some dishes like calamari and certain sides, but these were overshadowed by overall dissatisfaction. Several patrons expressed disappointment in the steak's flavor and quality, mentioning that it didn't meet expectations for a steakhouse. Has gone way downhill since our last visit there 6 weeks ago. All new staff, inexperienced, slow. We went specifically for the class casino which we'd had before and loved. I ordered 2 planning to make it my entre. They were nothing like the ones I'd had before. The French onion soup had no flavor. Check in, coat retrieval, etc very disorganized.

Immaculate vibes and tasty food. We had an incredible waiter named Derek who was working by himself and still managed to do a great job serving us. We had the steak dinner for two which came with the rib steak, a bottle of sauvignon blanc, a salad, fettuccine Alfredo and shrimp cocktail. We wanted to try appetizers so we got the calamari and oysters as well. The calamari was delicious. The oysters were okay but I feel a bit overpriced honestly ( $22 for 6 oysters) . I was a fan of the food but I was slightly disappointed in the steak. It was cooked perfectly but I think it could’ve been a bit more flavorful being that it is a steak house. All in all, I didn’t try anything that I disliked! Tasty food and great service. I would go again and try a different cut of steak.

The atmosphere and staff were nice and kind. However, the service was extremely slow we were there for such a long time waiting for one thing to another. The scallop pasta dish was very disappointing flavor and portion wise. $38, and it probably wouldn't fill a 12 year old. I got the lamb, and even though it was yummy it wasn't worth the price and you don't even get a salad or anything with it. We spent a large amount of money and walked out still hungry. Honestly, i wish i knew it was a la carte or i wouldn't of went because it wasnt worth the price even with the vibe/environment The sides were very yummy though def a 9/10. I went for my birthday and they brought out my cake and I told them I'd cut it myself but they brought it in the back to cut it anyway. It took so long we could have cut and ate it by the time they brought it back. Would i go back? No. But I don't regret my experience with my friends and partner. It's always nice to try new places locally.

My wife and I would visit Tournedos for special occasions, and due to the quality service and experience, we rarely chose to go anywhere else. Once Tournedos changed hands, everything changed. The service became slower, the food was lackluster and the spirits became ridiculously overpriced. Seriously, the scotch's we ordered were nearly double the price over any of the other fine dining establishments in Rochester. Also, I'm fairly certain we were not served prime beef. It's sad to see, as we spent so many early anniversaries, birthdays and occasions here, but after two highly lackluster dinners we will no longer be visiting Tournedos. The new management/owners dropped the ball here. Go to Max's, Char or Black & Blue instead.

The staff were very good. But It’s clearly not the place it was under new ownership, which is unfortunate. The restaurant revamp is utterly tacky & cheap. All the ambience is gone. The furniture in the lobby with its Versace gone wild from the 90s is hideous. The class of a once beautiful restaurant is gone. Our meal showed cost cutting at its finest. The tuna which was once flown in daily from Hawaii is local shopped at best. The potato side was delicious, the Brussel sprouts were burnt & soft. We did enjoy having the cauliflower steak addition & it was delicious. The table cloths are tacky polyester & the god awful color scheme just makes one wonder who’s in charge of the interior. We waited too long for our dishes to be cleared with empty glasses standing, the crumbs used to be cleared from the table for the next course, but alas it’s not the same anymore. And no chocolates with your check! Which was such a touch of class. I doubt we’ll return, so sad to see this place take the turn it has.

Came here for my wife's and my 1st wedding anniversary. Not what I was hoping for food wise. I ordered French onion soup that was very nice. Followed by a dry aged rib steak with 3 colossal shrimp. Now here is where they lost me. The steak was as good as a longhorn steak. It didn't have any of the funky concentrated flavor a dry aged steak should have. The shrimp didn't come out with the meal and I had to ask for them. My wife ordered the filet trio and lobster tail. Again we had to ask for the lobster and waited for them to have to cook it because they forgot again. the beer I wanted was out so the waitress suggested another one from the same brand. It was horrible and sour not good. They did take it off the bill. Over all not impressed for a $430.00 bill. All in all I don't think I will be back again.

The staff could not have been kinder or more considerate and attentive. That being said, the food for the most part was mediocre at best. To celebrate my birthday, my daughter treated me to dinner. We ordered the dry aged rib steak madium rare and the baked branzino. The steak was closer to medium and had no dry aged flavor. The fish was dry and tasteless. The steak was overly salty, charred and had no beef flavor. The creamed spinach was delightful and the thousand layer potatoes were tiny but tasty. The staff heard it was a birthday dinner and treated us to champagne and a birthday cannoli, demonstrating the high level of service provided. However, the main foods did not reach that standard. Cannot recommend.

In the past we have always felt the food, service, and ambience were excellent at this fine establishment. This was our first time dining under the new management and all three elements were subpar. This is no longer an upscale fine dining experience. Our wagyu steak that was cooked medium correctly was tough and chewy. It was hard to cut with a steak knife and some parts were not even edible. The mashed potatoes and broccoli were bland. The wine steward and extensive wine list were gone so you are left with 4 white and red wines to choose from. The waiter was unable to provide any insight on the wines. We had a white and a red and both were subpar. We were celebrating my wife's birthday. Even though I confirmed this was a special occasion via phone conversation and online with the restaurant, the staff had no idea we were celebrating. We can no longer recommend this restaurant and will not be dining there again.
