Went with friends. Good service. Liked our cocktails. Good ambiance. Portions as described, and were good for us. Fresh and flavorful. We all enjoyed our dinners. Truthfully we enjoyed the first course and took home a good portion of our entree! Thank you.

Great food, excellent portion sizes and on the affordable side for an upscale restaurant. Venison curry was excellent, ceviche was great but didn’t like the crisps that came it, lobster & burrata was pretty good too and drinks were great. Service was fast and excellent. Interior design is kind of intriguing, especially with a big photo of Dennis Rodman staring at you in the restroom 😂

Best dinner I've had in Rochester! I went to Trata, which I also really love, and Native, which was just alright. But this place, from the moment you walk in, it's just a vibe. The ceviche and Reuben sliders are RIDICULOUS. The halibut with the puff pastry was sinful, with some sort of heavy cream sauce that I could've drank 😂 The filet was like butter and cooked to a true medium rare. The bread pudding was absolutely amazing. Would come here again and again if I lived close by.

Enjoyed dining here, checked all the boxes for us: enjoyable atmosphere, interesting menu, delicious food, and top notch service. Our server, Kathy, was excellent! Will visit here again soon. Happy to give Avvino a high recommendation, check it out if you value a quality dining experience.

Food overall was very good. Mixed opinions on the octopus app. The cauliflower app was delicious. The cream corn served with the pork chop was a favorite with our group. Salmon dish was excellent with the exception of the sweet potato on top, just didn't fit, a lemon would have been better. The Korma dish was a miss for us, no naan served with the dish and only 5 pieces of tofu. When compared to the other entrées the tofu didn't make sense on portion, that being said the tofu was the best part of this dish- flavor of the rest of the dish was fine but not memorable. Cocktails were good. Service was top notch. We are looking forward to going back and trying more of this menu.

Overall this is a good restaurant. Wasn’t overly impressed with the food or cocktails though. We shared several apps, salads, and entrees at our table. Server was very nice and attentive. Steak was the best thing we had!

Wow what an amazing dinner. From a stuffed Beet, to a summer wax bean salad, to the amazing black pepper fettuccine and main courses of Salmon and venison curry. Absolutely delicious. Thank you Janine and Tim. You have a wonderful establishment and such great food and service. We WILL be back!! 5-Stars Rochester

Nice wine bar and inside atmosphere is nice for a date or to hang with friends. They did a nice job providing a private room and dinner for 50th birthday.
