Amazing! A variety of old fashions that set the stage for tantalizing evening. Excellent consultation over the menu and a strategic plan utilizing the palatial experience. Our waiter was a world traveler willing to share his knowledge and experience to guide our selections. Meatless meatballs! Potatoes fondue is a must! Lamb and tortellini with buttermilk whey. Finished with donuts and coffee that made the evening not want to end!

Marrow is Rochester’s best restaurant. Hands down. The menu is varied, thoughtful and exciting. The atmosphere is modern yet cozy with great views into the kitchen. Very New American with French influences. Love when they do the pre fix menus.

Reserved a spot a the chef counter for a late dinner with my lady. We ordered the cara cara orange salad and the beet salad. The cara cara salad was fresh and bright. The beet salad was one of the best we’ve had. Roasted potatoes with telleggio? yes please..we also had the Skate Wing and the Porcini mushroom gratin with bone marrow presented in a bone.. also had a wonderful cheesecake for dessert. Beautiful and well executed. Thoughtful wine list.. Thanks Chef Jeff and stellar staff.

Just a great dinner. Each dish was excellent. Coppa was my favorite. Followed by the bone marrow beef tongue dish and the deviled eggs.

You need to RUN to Marrow. Husband and wife team cooking amazingly eclectic and phenomenal food. After the appetizers, your palate is awakened and thrilled with anticipation for what’s next! An ever evolving menu because of the locally sourced ingredients. Craft bar tender, excellent wine list! Our waiter Jeff was beyond knowledgeable, hospitable, understanding and enjoyable! Honestly can’t say enough wonderful things about this restaurant! The taleggio potatoes, kohlrabi peanut salad, deviled eggs, smoked pork butt that cut like butter with chorizo and corn, strawberry parfait…just wow. I can’t wait to go back!

Exceptional food here in Rochester! This place stands alone here. We are from Charleston which has a BIG (and a little bit snobby) of a foodie scene. We are picky. And we were blown away! Each plate is expertly crafted. The flavors are fresh, seasonal, and always rotating. The marrow potatoes on the bar menu is one of the best side dishes I have ever tasted (I’m obsessed with potatoes). The olive oil margarita is not to be missed. The bartender is excellent and fun to chat with! Well done Marrow- your efforts here do not go unnoticed!

Just had a very nice dinner here starting with a chilled melon soup. I anticipated it being puréed, but I was instead treated to a “broth” with chunks of melon. The minimal chili pepper was a nice touch. I followed that up with a pork that had a bbq angle that was enjoyable. I feel like anything on this menu will satisfy the more curious foodie, but do feel the chef is still being a bit too safe. The dishes are all posturing as pushing boundaries, but both dishes felt just shy of their target. I wanted a bit more of the daring the paper menu suggested I might get. Satisfied, but curious what could really happen here. Staff and atmosphere are both absolutely spot on.
