Never disappointed with the delicious food or service! This is a cute and cozy place to grab sushi, a perfect date night spot. I love the bento boxes you can get during the lunch specials too!!! The dishes are beautifully presented and flavorful. One of my favorite sushi spots!

The sushi here was very fresh and very delicious. Even the small things like the salad and the miso soup were spot on amazing. Definitely one of the best if not the best in town for sushi. At the end I was definitely surprised that this place wasn't packed. I highly recommend the tuna dumpling it's surprisingly amazing and a great portion as well especially for the price.

Amazing Vibe.. Amazing service, Amazing Food! Cindy was our server/Bartender. She explained the menu to my gf and I and told us her favorite appetizer, Shrimp Tempura (which was delicious!) The place was very clean, as well as the restroom! We each ordered a different sushi Roll. Spicy Crab for myself and Salmon for her. It was very fresh and tasty. I love how Beautiful the food is. Cindy was awesome, and we can’t wait to go back to try more things off the menu.

I've been going to Sumo for lunch and dinners for a few years now. This is this is my favorite sushi place! They have unmatched hospitality. The sushi isn't the greatest in the world but it is the most consistent I've had and way above the normal standard. Every roll I've tried is great and the specialty rolls are even better. Highly recommend Sumo for any occasion. The staff is very polite and I've never had an issue with phone orders or in-person dining over the past 5 years I've visited. The food comes out in a timely fashion and the price is just right. Amazing place for sushi and the occasion hibachi dish!

After traveling to Japan two years ago, my husband and I struggled to find a place in Rochester that served sushi we could appreciate. SUMO is by far the best sushi we have had in the area. They offer creative rolls, but also have high quality sashimi that is served at the right temperature! Not on ice! Highly recommend this restaurant.

One of the best sushi places I have ever visited and enjoyed. Very good food. Authentic and well presented. Very reasonably priced. Service was excellent. Whoever likes sushi, must visit this place. Enjoys guys!
