Customer Review Summary
The reviews for Perlo's Restaurant highlight a mix of positive and negative experiences. Many customers appreciated the clean kitchen and the outstanding chef, though some staff were noted to lack professionalism. Food quality received varied feedback; while many found it good, some felt it was not exceptional compared to other local options. Service was often described as delightful and accommodating, even handling larger parties well. Portion sizes were generally seen as generous, with specific dishes like the Sicilian Orecchiette and Gnocchi being praised. However, there were complaints about overcooked dishes and inadequate response to sold-out items. The ambiance is casual but leans toward an adult setting, and prices were viewed as on the higher side. Overall, while some patrons may not return regularly, many indicated a willingness to come back, especially if certain menu items are avoided.

Clean kitchen, awesome chef .. worked here a few days and to be honest the owners are amazing but besides the chef 👨🍳 the rest act like 12 yr old schoolyard kids ... they don't take it seriously and as a 25 yr vet I can honestly say that's why McDonald's wages compare to those that are really experienced passionate cooks... pushing, giggling banter ... then they get threatened by experienced workers and turn into whispering Nancy's... other than that top notch cuisine, best product and good old fashioned Italian fare.

We had a nice meal. Our server was delightful. The food was very good, but not great. I have had more flavorful Italian food at other local restaurants. The salad was delicious. My scallops were overcooked. When I complained, our server told the kitchen. They promptly cooked fresh ones for me. The replacements were perfectly cooked.

It's a casual restaurant . The food is good , it's good portion size. The long Island ice tea was on point. I got to see the owner of this beautiful fancy restaurant .the price is $$$$ it 17- 20 $ and up. it's more of adult setting. I haven't seen a kids menu or a babystation. But you can bring them at your own risk , I haven't seen no baby or kids restrictions. Its prefer dressy casual format it not mandatory. But above all it good . Recommend this place.

The restaurant staff was lovely and accommodating when our party of 9 (!!!!) arrived after making the reservation on the wrong day. They had a table for us on a crowded Friday night within 30 min. Food and service were great. We had kids with us and there is something for everyone on the menu. We will definitely be back. Thank you!!!

This is has been a staple in the area for a reason. The food is good. The service was better, the prices are fair-ish. Overall we enjoyed our visit here. The food was pretty good. One thing that brings it down for me was the addition of chicken to my pasta dish. The dish itself was great, but the added chicken was super dry and chewy. Almost ruined the dish for me. My guess is the chicken they add on sits around on a warmer and just gets thrown in when they make a dish with it added. Overall this doesn't make it as a place I would visit regularly, but I'm sure we will be back. I will just make sure not to add chicken to my pasta next time.

Although we were the first seating our server shared that the entree I requested on New Year's Eve was "sold out" and not available. I was disappointed. Our server was outstanding and our substitute dinners were very good. We are regulars but perhaps offering a dessert to share or a complimentary glass of wine or coffee would have been a nice gesture.

This place seemed a bit pricy for the quality. It was quite busy on the night we went, and we hope the service we received suffered only because of that.

The Sicilian Orecchiette was really delicious. The portion was large and I enjoyed it even more the next day. My husband enjoyed the Gnocchis and our friends really liked the Haddock French. Restaurant was very busy on a Friday night, so the wait was a little longer but well worth it!
