Stopped in for dinner and had a party of 4. It was a Tuesday night and told there was a 30 min wait. They offered us a high top at bar, and unfortanately it was really loud and hard to have a conversation. The food was good. We previously had a catered event with the barbecue package and it was delicious. Was hoping those items on menu but they weren't. We started with the artichoke cristini app. It was so good...we fought over the last one. I had an Asian pork sandwhich with sweet potato fries; my husband had a pizza and 2 other family members had burgers. No complaints about the food. Good portion sizes. Hot. Reasonable prices.

Excellent food, cool atmosphere, good amount of parking. Update: Hose 22 has become one of my favorite restaurants. My husband and I have been going here monthly for the past two years. We have brought my parents and siblings there and it is always a huge hit. We just brought my brother to Hose 22 for the first time in December and he has already been back twice in six weeks. He brought his roommates with his for their first time on Friday and said they were blown away by their Fish Fry's. The fish fries truly are amazing, with a funnel cake like batter. They have the absolute best pork chop meal, sweet potato wedges, French onion soup, chicken dishes, fried pickles, burgers, pizzas, pastas, ribs, and more! The chefs truly know what they're doing. The staff is also friendly and welcoming. If you're on the fence about trying this place out, definitely give it a go. You might discover your new favorite place!

We were greeted and seated right away when the place was almost full. We got pizza and salad and both were great. Sweet Heat pizza is delicious. I lucked out, they have my favorite beer as well. Andrea was the server and she was great. Multiple refills! Extremely hot outside, and the AC was ice cold inside. Atmosphere is great, and the overall experience was great. Surprised I haven’t really gone here until now.

Great atmosphere, an old firehouse warmly restored! Food is delicious - pizzas, sandwiches, and larger plates. Nice selection of beers - local & seasonal. Their wait staff is always friendly and attentive. We make it a regular stop now whenever we visit Rochester. A can't miss place!

This unique restored 1916 Firehouse is the best example of a converted fire station turned restaurant we’ve been to thus far, and I’ve been to several. The food was really amazing too. We started with the nachos and had their jalapeño popper dip added and let me tell you….those nachos were incredible! Huge portion, we ended up filling up on those and didn’t have room for our entrees. Good news is that even leftover the entrees were excellent. My husband devoured the White Florentine pizza and the stuffed mushrooms were good too. I will caution that the garlic mashed potatoes are super garlicky. Service was great. Pricing is a little on the high side; be prepared to spend at least $20 for an entree, even if it’s Mac n cheese.

Busy upon arrival, primetime on a Friday, however was able to be seated immediately. Menu was extensive, offering a varied array of dishes. Being Friday in Rochester, a fish fry was to be had. The other entree we had was their grilled special of the evening, a swordfish steak. Everything was fantastic. Our server was particularly detailed oriented. He had noticed I put my leftover squeezed lemons in my soda, so when he brought a refill, he added a fresh lemon wedge for me. Details are everything. The food and ambiance of the old firehouse was impeccable. Everything was thoroughly enjoyed. A return trip is a must to try the other items that looked and sounded great. Lots of beers and drinks to choose from. Highly recommended.

First time at Hose 22! The food was very good and service was okay. Pretty pricey for food and drinks, but will definitely return to try the dinner menu. They had interesting rules regarding “happy hour.” You couldn’t order the discounted drinks at your table with your meal. We had to walk up to the bar and order separately for the discounted price. The waitress and bartender were fine, not very friendly or helpful. We had a good experience with the food, though!
