Really neat place given how old it is and the vibe they maintain is very interesting and unique. The prime rub was fantastic and so were cheese curds and creme brûlée. Definitely recommend checking out the oldest restaurant in Minnesota

Great service and atmosphere! The food was decent and the garlic bread was really good! They have little parking lot in the back and are very conveniently located in Mantorville. A very quiet and cute place to go! Check them out!

My husband and I love a good date night and we’re always looking for new places to go. We were excited to come to this restaurant as I’ve heard about it for years and never made it here. Today, we finally went, the waitress was very kind, but very slow and not very attentive. Waters were empty for awhile until I just asked for a pitcher. We got the combo appetizer platter which was phenomenal. The salads were okay, and the garlic bread was good. We both got steaks which were nothing to rave about. I got a shrimp side for $10 which was 3 fried shrimp that didn’t have much flavor. Then we each got a dessert to go. For a $150 meal, it just didn’t seem worth it. Prices are a little high for the quality.

Delicious meal, very friendly staff. Floor was clean, bathrooms were clean. Portions were perfect. Very enjoyable. One of the very few places we have found since moving to this area that still has the "Supper Club" vibe and ambience we so dearly miss back home. Thank you and hope to visit again soon!!!

A local institution as well as a tourist draw, the Hubble House showcases its historical roots going back to 1856. The architecture and decor will simultaneously take you back to an 1800s parlor and a 1950s curio shop. The menu is likewise full of familiar comfort foods with a few daily specials but little innovation. Nonetheless, the food is expertly prepared. Prices are higher end, but the atmosphere is worth the higher cost for special occasions. Staff are friendly and attentive even when busy. Additional parking is available in the back lot.

This is a great place for casual or fine dining. Many famous people have dined here even prior to 1900. Including Ladybird Johnson, Roy Rogers, Mickey Mantle, both Doctor Mayo's from the Mayo Hospital and numerous other senators and celebrities. I would compare the decor to an old word, upper class German restaurant or Gasthaus. Attention to detail was taken very seriously. Very clean and comfortable. The staff go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect. For an appetizer, we had the cheese curds and onion rings combo. They are not skimpy on portions and it was excellent. All freshly prepared. Our bread basket had these wonderful and almost popover styled buns and several slices of garlic toast. This included fresh whipped butter. For our main course we ordered the Ham Steak which was smoked several times with a fresh oven roasted flavor. It was covered with a pineapple, cherry sauce. It was amazing. We also had the chicken, fried and covered in a pecan and maple sauce: unreal how delicious this was. Side salad and augratian potatoes. Everything was amazing and our host, Madi was outstanding. If you have friends from out of town, this is a must place to take them. They will never forget how good the food and atmosphere is.
