The Motown Bistro offers a mix of experiences. Food is generally well-received, with highlights being the crab cakes, Szechuan green beans, ribeye, and Snapper Creole. Drinks, especially Margaritas, are praised, but there's no drink menu and gratuity is included. The atmosphere is lively, enhanced by live music, although some guests found the volume excessive. Service is often noted as attentive and friendly, but there have been incidents of slow water service. Ambiance is described as classy and beautiful, but some reviews mention the need for better signage and bathroom conditions. Overall, many enjoyed their meals and the ambiance, with a few significant disappointments regarding specific dishes.

Motown Bistro was decent. The food was good. I had pasta and chicken. The drinks were delicious. They offer many varieties of Margaritas. We decided to sit outside and black debris was blowing everywhere including our food. Lol. We still ate, had a great time and the music was nice

Walked past the building. It does need a sign that will stand out to the eye. From the looks of it, I thought it was Bert's restaurant that's next to theater. But once you get on the inside it's simply beautiful. Reservations were made so I was seated right away. Waiter staff was very nice. The only three things I would mention now is they do not have a drink menu, no real air circulation and the gratuity is already added to your meal so don't go and add extra when they bring the receipt. The food was delicious (my friend and I ordered the same thing but a different kinda cook on the steak it was mixed up. Maybe get a label for that) lol. And they also had the live band come in to play which was a nice touch as well. Overall a wonderful little spot to get away for a good meal. Just be sure to bring the good wallet because it will cost.

Music was ready really loud and I normally appreciate loud music but when out to dinner you can even hear what the person next to you is saying. Other than that the food was pretty good. The Szechuan green beans were so good and they were definitely the highlight of our meal. I had the lamb chops there were pretty good and a decent sized portion of 4 chops. My husband had salmon and he liked it a lot but said the sauce was quite a bit salty. Overall decent place to eat at would try it out again.

Special night for Tony & I. Valentine's Day 2020. From the ease of making reservations to the owner personally opening the door and wishing us a good night, this was the best dining experience we have had in years. Seated quickly (Reservations). Gary, our awesome waiter, ran down the specials & recommendations like a pro. Crab cake appetizers were very good. (Needs more crab meat though) I had the special Snapper Creole. Very good. But the Ribeye!!! OMG!!! SO GOOD!!! Best Clam Chowder I've EVER had. Service. Food. AND I felt catered to & appreciated. We WILL be back!

Amazing first visit, from the time we walked in the door I knew I chose the right spot. Live music, great service, atmosphere was very relaxing, drinks were On Point, appetizers were fresh and hot as well as the entree. I celebrated my 13 year anniversary and I’m so glad I picked this spot. Wife loved it and so did I. We will be back!

First, I'll start off by saying the staff was great and very attentive. I went there for brunch this past Sunday and the atmosphere was LIVE!!! I loved it. But the food.... Thumbs down. I ordered chicken and waffles... Why did they come back with chicken and EGGOS . Yes, for $21 I got three pieces of fried chicken and eggo waffles. My friend ordered the steak and eggs and she couldn't get a knife through that thang. She had to send it back and ended up eating somewhere else. Idk, who was back there in that kitchen that day, but absolutely unacceptable to charge those prices and serve us food a 7yr old could make. That was our first time there and we won't be back.

The reviews were sketchy. Based on those I wouldn't have selected this place but it was sister's birthday, so it was here choice. I was pleasantly surprised. The service was top notch. The ambiance was classy & upscale. The drinks were decent. The food was amazing. Highly recommend.

Had reservations & was seated right away. But waited over 20 minutes to get water🤦🏾 then I actually had to ask could we get a waiter(ess). Food came out in a timely manner, I did enjoy my steak! Mashed potatoes not so much. My s/o had the Alfredo pasta, he didn't prefer his. The house salad was really good. Now!!! All the money they make, they should get their BATHROOM (S) together😐😐 thank god I didn't wear sandals b/c my feet would have been soaked. The puddles leading to the bathroom & inside were disrespectful.
