Chartreuse is one of, if not our FAVORITE, places to bring people when they come into town. Their food is exceptional and their service is top notch. We adore the constant rotation of menu items and the brilliance behind each creative item crafted on the menu. From start to finish, this is one of the BEST restaurants in the city - no question.

The service was great! The atmosphere was great too. I got the chicken n biscuit. Delicious. My only complaint was the jelly under my crab cakes. It was sweet, which I wasn't a fan of for crab cakes. Everything else was good in my opinion. Portions are a bit smaller for the price though.

The small plates were really good! We got 7 plates for 3 people with 2 desserts. The burrata could benefit from a second slice of toast. The coconut curry and the meatballs were the stars of the night. The pudding was pretty solid. The chartreuse was very reasonably priced. Definitely get this place a look!

First time trying Chartreuse, and I was impressed with the plate presentation and flavor profiles of the dishes. Also, the price points were very good. Will need to come again and try some more dishes.

Lovely creative restaurant with a friendly staff and great service! We were quickly seated as walk-ins. The kitchen and staff were extremely accommodating with dietary restrictions and marked up a menu for us, which we appreciated greatly! Unfortunately I do have to say that we didn’t enjoy our dishes. We had the egg salad, which was highly recommended in the reviews but we personally found it too sweet and only ate it because we were hungry. The crispness and freshness of the salad was lost to the very sweet and thick dressing. The fish was excellently cooked but the combination with the other ingredients was somewhat of a miss and particularly the sauce was quite overpowering. There may have been better options on the menu for us.

The food was incredible and the service was top-notch, especially from the server Dan. The atmosphere was also really great. We ordered Twice cooked egg, Gumbo and Ratatouille Torttelleti.

Unfortunately the food quality to portion size ratio is way off at this price point but they definitely tried. The "johnny cake" was lacking in any crab and tasted like pure dill. The risotto was ok, but had borderline inedibly overcooked seeds in it which ruined the texture. The "crispy pork" was good but with a name like that I had expected crispy pork, but it's actually pulled pork, the crispy part was the pancake it was on. The accompanying "sauce" is a runny mess. I expected more at this price point ($100 for 3 small plates and 2 drinks), and with a 4.7 rating. Maybe we tried the wrong items. Decor is lacking in polish and cohesion. The service however was great.

Incredible food and wonderful atmosphere. I’m having a hard time putting my experience here into words; the food ranged from “very good” to “best I’ve ever had” and the cocktails were delicious. Our server was wonderful; she was funny and attentive and had good recommendations, and the people who cleared the plates as needed were delightful too. I’m not often moved to write a review about a restaurant, but this was so incredibly good I feel it is my civic duty to implore you to visit Chartreuse at your earliest convenience.
