Amazing experience! We went with the chef’s tasting 5 course menu for the evening. Everything was top notch from the drinks to the food and the service as well. We were celebrating our anniversary and they even brought us a special dessert and champagne toast. I don’t have enough great things to say about the food it was all incredible.

Excellent Chef’s tasting experience! 5 courses starting small and then I definitely felt full by the end. Earl grey tea was delicious as well. Never had a more creamy donut than the ones made here! Was neat to see how they created well known dishes in their own style. Each dish was presented beautifully and described well. Haven’t had this many ingredients in one sitting in my life! 3 friends also enjoyed all the courses and the experience. No complaints. Service was top notch!

We went to Marrow on a Double Date Night and had a great time. We love the place and the vibe. It is unique, modern and cool, casual but elegant. Our waitress was Chloe. She was AMAZING. She described everything perfectly and was attentive. We didn't feel neglected at any point in time. Margaritas and their version of Cosmos (I forgot the name) were both really good. The cherry mascarpone homemade ice cream and the cappuccino were good, too. We LOVED the deviled egg tartare, the corn bread, and the Marrow. LOVED them. The Chef's Pick was okay. It was a Hanger Steak. It was good and cooked to the right temperature, and the fries were on point. But the steak itself is only 7 ounces, and there was nothing fancy to it, like all the other dishes that we enjoyed throughout the evening. The only thing I'd recommend is adding a larger steak to the menu. I would come back (but not sure that my husband would be thrilled to be back - he is a Beef/steak lover after all).

Marrow was one of the reasons we made a side trip to Detroit on our Christmas holiday. It’s been well-reviewed and for good reason. We started with some lovely cocktails and moved into the chef’s menu, which changes often. The French onion soup stood out, a humble yet rich staple elevated to courtly status with gorgeous caramelization and decadent whipped marrow-butter to add in as you desire. The deviled egg with tartare was a playful and fun method of service of both, which luckily was also entirely delicious. From start to finish, the menu was delightful and the wine pairing on point. After the meal, we ordered an additional dessert - the baklava doughnut - which we declare a MUST-HAVE! The service was warm, generous, and as attentive as you could wish. Michael was a fantastic host for our experience, and it was a delight to meet and speak with owner Sarah - who made it a point to greet and chat with every table of guests at some point throughout their visit. The restaurant was full at all times and parties enjoyed their experience so much that a few had to be gently motivated to leave to make way for the reservations that followed. Highly recommend - don’t miss this great spot!

Had an awesome experience at Marrow the other night. This place has been on my list for quite some time, and although I unfortunately had a flight get cancelled that left me stuck in Detroit, I made the most of it by getting an amazing dinner at Marrow. They’re a butcher shop and restaurant combo, so it’s a really cool vibe when you walk in the door. We chose dining room seating but the bar area looked like it would be great as well. Now for the menu, you can get a la carte or try their tasting menu. We opted to do a La carte because I had heard their burger was incredible. And it was! It’s a beef and bacon combo for the meat and a double smash patty, American cheese, lettuce and their house sauce that is awesome. By far the best burger I’ve had in Detroit, my only regret is that I split it instead of getting my own! We also split the Butcher’s Pick steak frites, that night it was a hanger steak and it was perfectly cooked and so tender. For sides we had the pigskin popcorn, roasted bone marrow, and Brussel sprouts, all of which were fantastic. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful with the menu selection and wine pairing. Overall this has been my favorite restaurant in Detroit thus far, can’t wait to come back and do the tasting menu!

Took my brother for his birthday because we wanted to try something new, fresh, and unique. We arrived and were seated fairly fast with friendly staff. I noticed immediately they had great cuts of beef steaks on 1 side of the building. The menu had some very appealing options, and we wanted to try them all, but we decided to go with the 5 course dinner for $90 a person, which was adventurous but well worth it. We also added the bone marrow because the place is called this. The food was amazing. The flavors but especially the bacon and pork and the sauces with the snack. The sea bass was cooked perfectly. Each snack was amazing. The 3rd snack option on the picture had an amazing sauce that wowed us. The 1st snack was the best. The salad only draw back was thai bird had a strong spicy kick. The sea bass cooked perfectly light and very great sticky rice just had a little too much heat from the jalapeño. Entree was excellent. Cooked perfectly. The dessert was a light refresher with great coconut. We will come back. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful, explaining the menu and cuts of meat. I would highly recommend all my foodies to go. 9.8/10 They did so many things right it would be an essay to describe it all. Well done

My best friend took me here for my birthday and the ambiance was perfect. Our server was so attentive and there wasn’t a dish we didn’t like. My favorite was most likely the carpaccio. We also had the mushroom dumplings, lamb kofta, and bread and butter.

I recently visited Marrow in the Detroit area, for the first time on a date with my fiancé and was pleasantly surprised. I’m new to Michigan and knew nothing about the restaurant or really the menu even. Everything was great with unique takes on certain items. I have to say the foie gras with pumpkin bread, which I always try, but sometimes don’t love the texture, was one of the best ones that I’ve ever had. I’d love to come back and actually get things from the butcher to cook at home next time You’ll definitely be seeing me again.
