I never write reviews but I feel like I have to share my experience with everyone. My friends and I had dinner on wednesday night there and our server Nikki made our experience unique. We started off with a calamari and shrimp coctail and then ordered our entrees. I had the Steak Romesco which was on the chef's special list and my friends had the pesto salmon which was in specials as well. It is definitely a place that you want to give it a try!

I brought a group on a charter bus. Parking absolutely sucks for a charter bus. So I decided to stay with the bus. The staff was incredible, and the server Tracy made sure my meal was ready before my party started eating. So I was able to eat and enjoy my meal. The food was incredible as always. Prime rib is by far one of the best I have ever eaten.

I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone. My experience Saturday February 8th was dismal to say the least. Most of the items were not on the available on the menue. I was only impressed by the live band. My meal, as the picture shows, was a 3 lamb chop entree and it came with a French onion soup and salad FOR 50$. The baked Potatoe was about 5 dollars and I had a glass of moscato for 12$. The waitress was very rude and disrespectful. IT TOOK AN HOUR FOR OUR ORDER TO BE TAKEN. Our party of 10 was forced to over pay for ravioli we never received and the entire party was on one bill. When we made the reservation we were not notified in advance that THEY REFUSE TO SPLIT THE BILL. The tip was included of 112.00. And the service was not worth such a large tip. Once we asked to speak to a manager regarding the bill We were threatened with the police. The table we had was right in front of the bathroom and I feel like if it’s your birthday you should get a better view of the stage. I saw an empty table that would Have been just as accommodating. Don’t waste your time coming here

This is probably my favorite spot for dinner! I love the old school vibes and the live music with dancing! The food is always spectacular and so are the drinks! Our server Matt was exceptional! He was very knowledgeable about the menu and steered us in the right direction in terms of drinks and food! I am very thankful that the prices are very reasonable and wait to come back again!

The Clawson Steakhouse is a classic style steakhouse with generous portions and a local vibe. They offer live music (it was jazz tonight) Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. They're very well known for their prime rib and variety of dishes.b the prime rib and French onion soup was delicious!

For years every time our family has a significant birthday or occasion to celebrate, we always go the Clawson Steak House. Two things are always true: 1) We are a large crowd (at least two tables); 2) EVERY time we go the food is FANTASTIC. We all order varied items from the menu and each dish always comes out hot and delicious. This restaurant is the most consistent at always serving food that is well prepared with friendly and efficient service. The atmosphere is unique, too. Classic old-school steak-house vibe. Their prices are inline with what a quality meal should cost, but the amount of food served with each meal and the portions make this not only a great restaurant but a good value as well. The Clawson Steak House is a Detroit gem. If you have not been there, try it...you will be glad you did.
