Customer Review Summary
Kathryn provided exceptional service, making the dining experience enjoyable and memorable. The restaurant was clean, and the food, particularly the in-house croutons and the 12oz New York strip, received high praise for its quality and taste. The ambiance of Texas Roadhouse retains a nostalgic charm, though the noise level can be overwhelming at times. One reviewer had a negative experience regarding seating arrangements and coupon acceptance, feeling discriminated against. Another visit highlighted the fantastic bread, family-friendly atmosphere, and tasty meals, though the restaurant is not the first choice for everyone. Outstanding customer service from waiter Ken/KJ was noted, with commendations for food quality during a visit. Service and atmosphere were good, but one patron complained about the dining room being too cold, compounded by overcooked entrees and unresponsive management, leading to a decision not to return. Overall, experiences vary significantly, with many praising the food and service, while others reported significant service issues.

Kathryn, was amazing waitress, she not only was on point but she took such good care of of us that I will definitely Return, the place was clean, the food was outstanding.. they make there own in house croutons that are so yummy you’ll ask for a bin of your own. I had the 12oz New York strip and a loaded baked potato that was so yummy and delicious I have to go back and try there t-bone next. My medium cooked steak was done to perfection. Thanks for the wonderful service and the best food in the area.

🥩 Texas Roadhouse - Amazing Food, Timeless Taste, and a Whole Lotta Noise 🌟 Had a fantastic dinner at Texas Roadhouse the other night with my family. As always, the service was spot-on, and the food? Out of this world. I don’t know when this location first opened, but stepping inside feels like a step back in time. Seriously, it looks the same as it did in my early adult years—down to every last detail! Now, here’s the thing: while I’m all for the food and service, the noise level can be a bit overwhelming. The place is bustling, which is great, but it’s loud enough that it’s hard to chat with the people right at your table. If they ever considered a refresh to balance that classic vibe with a bit more peace, it’d be perfect. If you’re craving a solid meal and don’t mind a little noise, this place always delivers on food quality and service. But if you’re after a peaceful dinner, just know it might be more of an energized experience. Still, I’d say go for the food—it’s totally worth it!

Dealing with Texas Roadhouse has not been frustration free tonight. I usually stick to the location on 23mile in Chesterfield or the surrounding areas but I had a coupon my son received Halloween that expired today. The first issue was the initially told us they couldn’t seat us (7 ppl my three sons ages 17,16,6 and their cousin age 16 my husband and I and our 4month old baby girl). After agreeing to separating us they seated us. In no why shape or form did they accommodate us. I can’t help but feel it was in a prejudice manner because another family of different skin type w more ppl were seated in very small area but they somehow made it work for them. And at the end, they didn’t take the coupon bc I ordered my youngest son the adult critters. Wow I just should’ve left at the beginning. Never coming to this location ever again.

Came here with the fam on Sunday. The bread is amazing and addictive. Extremely family friendly restaurant. I had the 8z steak with rice and fries, kids had a burger and chicken tenders. My Old lady had the fried steak. Everything was extremely tasty and I would go back. Not my first pick but solid family spot that has affordable pricing.

Last week me and my son came to visit at opening with my mom. Our waiter was amazing. (Ken or KJ) very prompt, friendly, helpful and kind. 10/10 recommend for customer service. He really was the best waiter I had there in a long time. Not sure how much y’all are paying for that position but I guarantee it probably isn’t enough!! He needs a raise bc his customer service was extraordinarily over exceptional. The food was AMAZING as well. Whoever cooked the day we came knew EXACTLY what they were doing. I’ve had some bad experiences in the past with my food not being cooked properly. I was more than satisfied with the food this time as well. The atmosphere was nice, your typical Texas Roadhouse. I liked how friendly the other staff was as well. Felt very welcome.

FREEZING-COLD in dining room. We (including other guests) asked to have the a/c adjusted. At one point we contemplated getting our food to go. The bread and salad were good, but was so uncomfortable from the temperature it didn’t matter. Server said “they” turned it down. Waited and waited for entrees in the chilly air. Server seemed completely unconcerned about our comfort level and told us again “they” turned it down. (As I feel the arctic air blowing on me) Finally entrees arrive: both steaks overcooked, French fries cold and chewy, mushroom & onions cold and obviously old, rice cold. Waitress offered to recook, but at this point I just wanted out. Manager (who was as cold as the room) asked “everything good?” I said no…immediately she said “ok” and left. She couldn’t give two poops about customer service. NEVER going back. Always heard Texas Roadhouse was the Gold Standard…proves my point, The world loves mediocre…in this case mediocre would’ve been an upgrade!
