A Birthday to Remember at Prime + Proper From the moment my girlfriend and I walked into Prime + Proper for my birthday celebration, we were enveloped in an inviting atmosphere that set the perfect tone for the evening. Not to mention, the service was absolutely phenomenal. Our chefs kept a very close eye on us throughout the whole experience, making sure we had everything we needed while educating us on their aging process for the meats as well. We are new to this type of dining culture and the extensive knowledge shared about all the foods helped steer us in the right direction to having our best culinary adventure. We kicked off our meal of the night with the oysters, which were fresh and brimming with flavor—a delightful start that left us eager for more. For the main course, I opted for the cowboy ribeye, and let me tell you, it was cooked to perfection. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, with a sear that locked in the juiciness. My girlfriend, who typically avoids meat, couldn’t resist trying the mac and cheese, and to my surprise, she was absolutely amazed. The creamy, rich flavors paired beautifully with the warm, freshly baked bread they served as an appetizer. And then there were the Brussels sprouts—oh my goodness! I’ve never tasted such a simple dish elevated to such heights. They were perfectly seasoned and roasted, paired with green apple and granola making them a standout on the table, and a surprisingly new taste. I wish I could give Prime and Proper a 10-star review, but alas, 5 stars will have to suffice. It was a memorable birthday dinner, and I can’t wait to return!

The food itself tasted alright. The carrots and broccolinni was great. I would also order the mac and cheese again. There was not much flavor in the dry aged whiskey ribeye. I'm not sure it was worth the money being charged.

Outstanding service from Anthony and his support team…tasty Louie Salad that was perfect for sharing along with the delicious fried chicken and cauliflower au gratin! Final touch was nice piece of chocolate. Wonderful meal in cozy atmosphere.

Everything from the service to the ambiance to the food was phenomenal I’m super picky about my steak, let alone my food. This place far exceeded my expectations and took it to the next level, from the bone in cowboy ribeye to the highly recommended chicken fried lobster (which was AMAZING) and the beef fat marble potatoes, you honestly couldn’t have asked for a better meal! To finish it off the amazing baklava sundae which was soooooo delicious! This experience wouldn’t be the same if it wasn’t for the amazing tour of the restaurant from Brian and his hospitality to the amazing service from Jaylin who honestly gave the best service I ever received. If you’re in town this place is a MUST!

Our server Brandon was super sweet and personable and also brought us a complimentary dessert since we couldn’t decide between the two (get the cheese cake). We got a tour with Bryan and he was comical and super informative. He also took it upon himself to take pictures of us in the special areas. The entire team made us feel so special! The food was incredibly good. I’d highly recommend the bone marrow and mac and cheese! Having worked in the industry myself for ten years, I can genuinely say their guest experience is top notch and we’re so excited to return again and try more dishes!

Everyone working there makes you feel comfortable, and the atmosphere is nice! We tried a variety of things, and everything was on point! The downstairs is also really cool, had a nice setup for parties and they have a meat storage so you can see the quality as well as wine in cellars by a private room.

Megan, Victor, and Christian did a fantastic job, so glad we sat at the bar booth. All of the food was wonderful. I especially enjoyed the smoky + sassy cocktail paired very well with my baklava sundae.
