BYOB-BYOB-BYOB Now that that's out of the way. They have glasses for your wine & beer and mixes for your spirits. This is a very small and intimate restaurant. I would suggest making reservations on the weekends. I think it only holds up to about 80 people in total. In the summer that might be different cause, I think they might have had a couple of tables outside. We went in January on a Wednesday at about 6:30 pm and were seated right away. Nadia, you were the best server. I realize it being the middle of the week you had some free time. Thanks so much for letting us enjoy your company. Not to mention, what a wonderful server you are. Thank you, our order was perfect. We started with the Mild Tableside Guacamole. Mashed avocados and brought to our table. Had two deep-fried flour tortilla chips on top, nice touch. Since I like heat, but my other two friends were more on the mild side, they gave me a cup of thinly sliced Jalapeno pieces. Dipped my chip in the Guacamole and then again in the Jalapeños and added some salsa. Deeeeelicious and just perfect heat for us all. We also had the Soup & Salad. The soup was Poblano and the side salad was a healthy selection of arugula, red leaf, and chard lettuce. WoW! Also topped with a few croutons. The dressing (house & I didn't get the name) also has a good flavor. Never even seen that great of salad even in a ritzy steak house. For our main course, we had Beef Enchiladas and Steak Quesadillas. I had Mahi Mahi and we all had beans & Red rice. Everything was cooked perfectly. The steak was as tender as my Mahi Mahi. The sauce had a great flavor. As you know I looked around the restrooms and this one was EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN The vent in there (even though it was an older building) was clean and I was so happy to see that. The rest of the restaurant is also very clean. It was delightful walking around in there. So glad we came here. We all left very satisfied. Thank you to the owner & management. Your place is #1#1#1#1#1#1#1#1 Mexican Steakhouse ❤️Love this place❤️

My friend wanted Mexican, and then said she wanted Steak. I thought both sounded great so I’m so glad I stumbled across this hidden gem. We made reservations which from what I could tell is highly encouraged. Ample street parking and a parking lot in the back. There’s a beautiful mural in the back lot as well painted in 2015 from an artist on the east coast. The restaurant is small and quaint, very cute and no frills. Alma was our amazing waitress. They also allow you to BYOB without a corking charge so long as it’s not hard liquor. The Guacamole En La Mesa was amazing and some of the freshest I ever had. From what I’ve seen they usually serve it table side, however on a busy Saturday evening it’s totally understandable for them to simply make it fresh in the back or towards the side to not be in the way of everything. Our waitress made sure we never ran out of chips at our table too. The soup of the day was a Creamy Poblano which was so flavorful. For entrees we ordered the Fajitas with Steak, Chicken, & Shrimp, the Ribeye Steak con Rojas, and I had to get the Filet Minion with Three Chili Butter Sauce. Everyone seemed to really enjoy their meal, and I can confidently say the Filet Minion is easily in my top 3 best Filets I’ve ever had. The Three Chili Butter Sauce really elevated the already great flavor of the Filet itself. Both steaks were perfectly charred on the edges, and cooked as ordered. Overall it was such an amazing experience and I already cannot wait to go back!

This place was absolutely delicious and id definitely recommend. Came in with a large party and the service was great. The lobster quesadilla, soup, and enchiladas verdes were all amazing and I will definitely be going back!

The food was perfect. Chips and salsa were well done to start. The steak was just perfect - perfect crust, perfectly cooked, perfect seasoning. The seafood dish was also very tasty and best of class. On weekends, make reservations if you're eating after 3p. Doris was our server and she was very attentive and pleasant.

Food was delicious! The staff was so kind and the entire ambience of the restaurant is authentic. It’s a vibe, we got the fajitas, enchiladas and steaks. You have to get their fresh guacamole as well it’s amazing, I can handle spice but the medium was too much for me 😂. Wish they had dessert too.

Food was good service was great. Didn't realize you had to make a reservation and was asked if we could eat in an hour,we did it was good. We sat at the first table by the door that was not very unpleasant for every time the door opened it was very cold draft of winter on my back.
