About Delta Prime Steak House - steak house in Detroit, Michigan
Customer Review Summary
Delta Prime Steak House is a convenient hotel restaurant with great bartenders and decent drink options. While the limited menu helps maintain food consistency, some diners feel it's overpriced for the quality. Service experiences vary, with some praising attentive servers like Veronica, while others report issues like long wait times and forgotten orders. The food can be a mixed bag; some dishes, like the chicken quesadilla and wings, receive positive remarks, while others like the burger faced complaints, including a wax paper incident. Atmosphere is pleasant, featuring large windows that let in natural light, but some guests note that service can be slow and inattentive during busy periods.

For drinks this is a good place to go since you don’t have to leave the hotel and the bartenders are great. It is a pricey restaurant for the quality of the food but they do keep the menu limited to keep up consistency of what they serve. For being a hotel restaurant it serves it’s purpose.

Our server, Veronica, was absolutely perfect. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner, drinks and dessert. The food was worth the price. There wasn't a long wait to be seated. We will definitely consider this hotel another stay when we are flying out of Detroit.

Decent. Recently updated hotel bar. Standard cocktails decent selection of beer and wine plus apps. Bartender was very friendly and engaging and the Marilyn Monroe theme was cute. Meals were good but unimaginative. I think my favorite thing was the large windows in front letting in a lot of natural light.

Halfway through my burger something didn’t taste right and I pulled out a sheet of wax paper that had not been removed from the cheese. This came after long wait to be served and forgetting to put in 1 of 3 meals for the table. My friend waited another 20 minutes for their food.

Server was great. Limited menu. Prices are kinda high. Lots of fat on the lamb chops but were tasty. Mashed potatoes were good. Had to put my pin in at the register for my credit card which I've never had to do at a resteraunt.

No chance of getting drunk at this bar. Long story short; two drinks in two hours. If you stand at the bar, don't expect to be acknowledged, let alone served. He was the only bartender there at the time. Not busy, just inattentive. The server wasn't much better. Took 30 minutes after sitting down before we were asked if we needed anything. And another 45 minutes after we emptied our glasses, we were able to order another round.

Not a lot of options to eat close to the hotel and it’s not the safest area to be walking around, so ate at the hotel restaurant. Sat at the bar. Service was friendly, forgot part of my order but comp’d it. Got the dozen wings, half Buffalo and half BBQ and a side of fries. Wings were good, fries were kinda plain. Overall good.

Nice and convenient little bar/restaurant inside the Marriott Delta hotel. Couple good choices of beers too. Got the chicken quesadilla that was amazing. Bartender Justin was awesome and great to chat with.
