Moby Dick Brewing Co. offers a great atmosphere with delicious food. The Mozambique dish was particularly praised, along with the option to have it with codfish. Repeat visitors enjoyed the Pulpit beer on draft, chowder, and various smooth beers from a flight. Calamari was noted for being fresh and crunchy, while some dishes like the quahog were overcooked but replaced promptly. The codfish sandwich and Buffalo chicken Mac and cheese were also well-received. Recommendations include the Thanksgiving wrap and linguica sandwich, with decent beer options. The brewery is commended for its reasonable prices and generous food portions. Vegan options, including a highly praised vegan burger and fries, make it appealing for diverse diners. Great atmosphere food was delicious. Definitely one of the best Mozambique I’ve ever had, Plus, it was the one of the first times. I had the options to have it with codfish.

Follow up visit to Moby Dick. Had the Pulpit on draft. Thought it was really good. Also had a cup of chowder which was great. On a previous trip, I went with a flight of beer. Went with the Inward, Whalers Jaw, Simple, and Queen. They were all pretty smooth and easy drinking. Tried their calamari. Found it to be fresh with a good crunch batter. Not rubbery at all and had a good aoli sauce. Had a cup of chowder which was pretty good. Will try the quahog next time. Gave it a shot, but was way over cooked and they took it back. Had a cod fish sandwich, which was excellent. Wife had a Buffalo chicken Mac and cheese and thought it was pretty good. However, she started with the rice pudding Martini and was in here happy place by the time her food came out.

I have to recommend the thanksgiving wrap and the linguica sandwich, both awesome. Our server was very good. Beer was decent, the New Zealand Tom IPA was my favorite by far.

I wanna preface this by saying I’m vegan and find it hard to find good places to eat around New Bedford. That being said, THIS place will def be my go-to when I’m comes to a good vegan burger! The waitresses are also very nice and personable so that’s the cherry on top. Will be going back for sure. (Sidebar: You HAVE to order the fries when you go! They’re so good.)

Excellent local brewery. We tried both IPA’s and were pleasantly surprised. 4 packs were reasonably priced at $14 each. Food portions were excellent. The clam chowder had the more clams than any that I have seen. Danielle did a good job tending to our party.

Absolutely fantastic every time I go! The beer is frequently changing, the food never disappoints, and the service is excellent. There was a small issue with my original order and the server was so quick to help resolve it, the kitchen got my order fixed so fast and the food was incredible. When I tell you that I’m still dreaming about the french fries… they are cut thin so they have the perfect amount of fluff and crunch. We had planned to get different desserts but the tiramisu was the special and it was the best tiramisu I have ever had in my life! These photos are from my visit a few weeks ago and I plan on coming back today!

Beautiful atmosphere, outside dining and gorgeous architecture inside and out. Welcoming staff and people, especially our waiter, Matt!! Not that expensive, 50 between two people. (Nacho bowl-17, drinks- 3/6, soup-9, burger-16). Food was very filling and good!! Definitely will be coming back with friends and family❤️❤️

Great service, Vegan options, Moctails and really cool flat cut fries! I had the vegan burger 🍔 and was very happy with that. The atmosphere was very chill, my server was kind and checked up on me a few times and I look forward to coming back and bringing a few friends with me. 😁👍🏼🏍️💨
