Great local family ran restaurant with counter service. Breakfast has tons of options and so delicious. This is my go to spot when I come back to New Bedford. The price is right and the people are friendly. Second time back... Love the counter service as it puts you right in the action. Coffee is so fresh and good. Cheese rolls are a must!

We were in town (from Colorado) visiting friends and stopped in. Everything about Dillion's was amazing! We will definitely be back, next time we are in Massachusetts.

After seeing all the old timers talking about this place, I downgraded from 4 to 3 stars overall. For anyone looking to have breakfast or lunch, that's good and cheap, look no further than Platters on the south end by the beach, in the corner of the strip mall with the dta office and dollar general. It's run by 2-3 old timers that are still doing good. Anyway, back to dillons. Their prices are about the same as willow leaf, their stores much more rundown, but on the upside, the lady who cooks and makes the weekly special menu is nice and i got to have biscuits and sausage gravy for the first time in a few years since coming up here from florida. So i was gonna give it a 4, but if the stories these old timers tell about how a disabled lady was treated are true.... screw the owners of this joint go to platters instead.

Been coming here for well over 20 years. Today I was served burnt toast and eggs over hard when I asked for light. I never complain so i ate my breakfast. When the bill came they charged me 10 dollars even for two cups of apple juice.and another 2.75 for my cup of coffee. I debated with the employee who told me their drink sizes changed on the menu??? So the old large cup that was 2.50 (written on there new menus) is now called an extra large and is 5 dollars. I spoke with the new owner misty who seemed to care less that I just paid 13 dollars to have a drink with breakfast. In a time where everyone is struggling, idk how they think this is okay. This place was a staple in the community for good food at good prices. I will never step foot in this establishment again. You want to tax its time to update the atmosphere and get a new exhaust fan so your customers don't leave smelling like a grease trap. Ps. They also kicked out a woman who was trying to enter the restuarant in a handicapped wheel chair. The owner made a whole big scene about it and even felt the need to tell the customers why.... apparently last time she had crashed into some tables. The way this woman was spoken to and treated was horrific.

Have Been going for over 20+ years. Food went downhill, portions terrible, taste is bland, wait staff is always on they're phones and not paying attention to customers, the owner seems to be in the back all the time comes out wiping white residue off her nose. Also went in to get a Portuguese steak plate and it was quite disgusting. Dramatic turn for dillons in my opinion.

Great food, prices, and staff. Have been going here for more than 4 years with my wife and when Andy announced he was retiring we were worried about who would take over. We are glad Melissa bought it. She's amazing and I love how she's trying to not only honoring the original Dillons but also bringing her own personality and flavors into the menu. The staff is great and good is just as great.
