We go to cuttyhunk every summer and always make it a point to get food from here before catching the ferry. Everything is delicious but make sure to try the rotisserie chicken and hot sauce. I wish I could bottle the hot sauce and eat it every day! The staff is always friendly and I have never had a bad meal!

Came here for the chicken and rice which was very good. Unfortunately my 8 month pregnant wife got the kale soup 5 hours later gave her food poisoning so bad and so violent she wound up in the ER. Will never be back again. I would give this place zero stars if I could and I suggest they figure out how to serve safe food

Found this restaurant on Google and thought we would give it a try. It feels like a special local find that you don't stumble upon at random. It was busy with regulars but we fit right in. I had a few questions about the menu and the waitress was a great help. The food was really good and I would like to go back to try some other items. There is nice bakery next store too.

Very nice place next to my house small family oriented for me my favorite thing there are the ribs the chicken is okay he needs flavor and the inside The outside is good but in the inside no flavor but the ribs are really good

A very authentic Portuguese restaurant where all the locals go. It's very small and in the middle of the neighborhood. Men are hanging around outside shooting the breeze with each other, some come inside & have a drink at the small bar in the corner, all speaking Portuguese. They are known for their rotisierre chicken which you can see them roasting inside on a fire pit as soon as you walk in. It's very tender & delicious and come with a big heaping of perfectly fried shoestring fries and the best tasting rice I've had in a long time. And coming from an Asian, that's a big compliment. My friend had their Jr. steak which he said was very flavorful and tender as well. It came with a fried egg on top and the same rice & fries. We also had a bowl of their kale soup, which I enjoyed so much that I made some similar when we got home. I highly recommend you stop in for a bite. Don't let the looks of the neighbour scare you off. Everyone is extremely friendly & like to joke around.

Great chicken if you get rotisserie one. I would not recommend getting the chicken breast as it's too plain and simple. While the rotisserie one has all the flavor from the open fire and smoke. We also loved the Portuguese style steak. Overall good experience. I wished the server recommended us their house most popular dishes so we could go for it rather then experimenting

I've been in numerous times and for the most part I can't complain but today service was just not it !!! Greatly disappointed in the service today. Order two appetizers one of them came the other one never did and even after when the check came we still didn't get the appetizer.. I literally had to go up to the window and grab it myself. I literally asked three times about it before, during and after the meal and got told I know one time, that's right a second time, and oh yeah the third, and still never got it.not impressed at all..

If you value taste over decorum, this place is for you. I wish I had pictures to show you but I wiped my plates clean. Everything was delicious, from the little necks, to the desserts, to the coffee. A great service, inviting, cordial and very kind.
